| So Cold! Well my heaters broke, my house is freezing so Im pretty much staying huddled on the couch(with the hubby and 3 doggies) in front of one of those big ceramic room heaters and under a bunch of blankets. So I just wanted to let ya'll know I wont be on the computer much this weekend- way too cold in the room where my computer is!! YIKES lol So anyone trying to get ahold of me in pms or emails, I'll venture back to the computer room as soon as its a bit warmer Thank goodness it doesnt get cold in Texas very often, us weeneys dont know how to handle it

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Do what we do: Rub noses! Hope your heater gets fixed. That sucks. I won't even make fun of you. You can bet the inside of our house isn't 40 or 50 or even 65!

| Wish I could take pictures today. The trees and ground are covered with ice. It was supposed to get up to 38 degrees by 5:00 pm today, but it's 4:30 and it's 22. It's going to have to come one heck of a heat wave really quick!! My kids took all the cameras to Wolf Creek to go skiing. It was 4 degrees there this morning! The only white I like on the ground is the sand on Florida beaches!!

| Be Safe!! Been watching the weather channel ..... you gals (& guys) in TX and OK are really getting it bad.... not to mention KS!!! Hope that you all are safe and sound. Please keep warm and if you aren't able to, don't hesitate to find a place where you can ( lots of hotels & motels will accept little dogs... and I would think that in a emergency, it wouldn't be questioned at a lot of places). ALSO... stay away from weak trees..... and keep the fur babies away, too! We don't need no accidents! Take Care!!! Will be thinking of Y'all! It is raining in KY right now.... but it is suppose to get cold next week. Brrrr.... I am getting out the hats and mittens!

| I hope it gets fixed soon! My heater hasn't been working too well either. I've been bundled under blankets and I've had on tons of layers. I hope your heater works soon. The cold weather seems to be EVERYWHERE! It got to the low 20s here last night. It's only in the mid 40s now. That is not normal!!

| Aw man, SO not a good time for your heater to be busted! Here in Brenham, TX it's a wet, nasty 38 (with a wind chill of 29) and yes, the heater's been running in this house all day and my feet are still cold. Wondering when the roads are going to get icy. It can wait one more day because I'm off work tomorrow anyway..... what I need is a bad icy road day to keep me home from work on Tuesday too! I commute to College Station every day and will not drive those bad roads in ice. We'll see what it does. I can't believe it's still around 70 degrees in Houston! That's only an hour or so away from me. Weird!

| Wait, I just read again what Villette said.... it's 40-50 in Houston? Weather.com says it's still about 70. Must be really different in different areas of Houston.
