| Called the police on the neighbor dog again.. Some of you know from other posts that I have a neighbor who keeps their dog (husky, malamute,etc-MIX) out in the fenced yard ALL the time. They have been pretty good about leaving the garage service door ajar when weather is bad but at 6 a.m. as we were leaving for breakfast today it was freezing rain out and poor Max was crying and banging on the closed door. He has NO other shelter. I called the police and when we came home around 7 from breakfast the door was ajar and poor Max was in the garage. Stupid people!!! |

| Poor Max. I understand Huskys are used to cold weather, but freezing rain. Not! And should have some kind of shelter for him. My neighbors had a large dog, kept him chained outside all the time. The dog barked & barked 24/7.After 2 days of this I finally called the police to report it. They took the dog inside after that. We have fireants down here & the police told me where they had him chained up there was a mound of them. They ended up getting a fine for cruel & unusual punishment for not checking on why the dog was barking. He was getting bit by the ants. |

OMG....my neighbors are angels compared to these people....FIRE ANTS ??? OMG they're HORRIBLE bedington.....I have a problem with my neighbors also - they leave their 2 out in the cold but they're pretty good about letting them in when it drops below 50 - to me that's STILL too cold but man - why HAVE A dog if you're going to ignore it and make it miserable.... I told my neighbor the other day his dogs Ray Ray and her son were crying all night long - I told him it broke my heart and that I was ready to come over to kick his butt - (joking around of course) and he said....Come on over !!! lol - HE GOT MY POINT though - He told me they DO try to keep them in the garage but most nights now he leaves them out cause Puppy ate a bed. (He's a big puppy) Have you tried talking to your neighbors ?? I must have missed the other posts | |

| to you for calling the police! I would have done the same. It infuriates me when I see a dog left outside all the time. They deserve to be indoors interacting with the family and treated as part of the family. You wouldn't leave your children outside day and night. Yet somehow they think it's ok to do it to a pet.

| Is there a animal cruelty society in every state like on the animal planet chanel. After so many citations, I think they take the pet away.

| I'm so glad to hear you got involved. Maybe they'll pay a little more attention to how they treat their dog now! |
