| I was in a wreck the other day Tuesday I was involved in a wreck. Some guy ran a red light and smashed in to the front of my pretty red Monte. I do believe that it is totaled. I am fine except for a major headache which I think is stress related. But looking at my dream car makes me sick. Thank god there was a guy who saw it all and actually stopped and stayed until the police came as the other guy says that I am the one that ran the red light. My biggest problem now is that I am petrified when I have to drive. And since I am a home health nurse I have to drive. So I am a nervous wreck the whole time. I went yesterday and picked up the police report and faxed it to the other persons insurance company to try and speed things up. Hopefully it will not take too long. So I guess now I am on the lookout for a different car. Not really for sure what I am interested in. We cant afford a huge car payment. If anyone has any suggestions or reviews of a good make/model of car I would love to hear them. I know that I am very lucky in many ways but it is really hard to feel that way when I look outside and see my once pretty car and know that I will never drive it again. |

Maybe for you, some counseling would help. I'm sure the other guy's insurance would pay. As far as a new car, check online for the government crash tests for which ones are best! Good luck and keep us posted!! | |

| Wow, I'm so glad that you're okay! Scary! Don't worry too much about the driving thing, once some time passes you'll be okay with it again. It's just fresh right now. Being extra cautious is good, but don't let it overtake you. Sorry about your car

| Car's can be replaced or fixed. Thank heavens your in one piece. It will take alittle time to gain confidence in driving but don't let that hold you down. Get behind the wheel and drive. There are so many nuts on the roads today. You need eyes behind your head. Thank heavens there was a witness who saw what happened. Take care. Carol & Buddy |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I'm so sorry this had happened to you and I'm so glad that you are ok. I think it's normal for you to be scared of driving. you have been through a lot and I would be scared as well. I still hate driving up on my road, I lost my 1st yorkie, she was hit right in front of my house and I drove up to the accident, and now everytime I drive up to my house I always think I'm going to see Lillie laying out their. I know it's all in my head but when you have been through trama like we have, it's very normal to be scared. |

| Last April that happened to me. Someone ran a red light and ran into the front of my car. She got out of her truck and started cussing at me saying it was my fault that I ran the red light. I had two witnesses and that made the difference. Come to find out she was driving someone else's truck. She had no insurance or a drivers license.(Wonder why) It took a while but the owner of the trucks insurance did pay and my car was repaired. I drive a Subaru and hear they do pretty good in the crash tests. |

| Thanks guys for all of the well wishes. I know that I am lucky to not be hurt. And I only missed that one day of work. We are still waiting to hear from the other guys insurance company. My hubby says that he is going to call them today. Still a nervous wreck but it does feel like it is getting better. My oldest son is going car looking with me tomorrow to just get an idea on what is out there and how much. God I hate the thought of having a car payment again. Still nauseated and have a huge headache. But it is all stress related I know. |
