Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I usually cook a huge dinner on Xmas eve and then from then on we eat leftovers and go to other folks houses the following day if we feel up to it: My menu Ham (pineapple/molasses glazed) Baked old fashioned Macaroni and Cheese Corn Bread Biscuits Baked Chicken (family is not a big turkey eater) Mashed Potatos Lasagna or Manicotti w/ meat Scalloped Potatos Potato salad Those are usually the base things and then whatever else my kids and younger sisters decided that they want to eat.

| This year, we are having a more traditional meal - ham, dressing, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, etc. Pies: coconut cream, chocolate, apple, etc. Last year, we did cornish hens and the year before that we did steaks....we always try to do something alittle different each year.

| We are having 18 for dinner. I'm thinking of throwing a few cans of Chicken Noodle soup on the table, and calling it a dinner. Ok, I might use a bowl..........

Ha that was good. With that many people maybe you want to do somewhat of a potluck. That is such a big grocery bill to handle too. For turkey day I had 11 and man talk about work and the expense. If I were you I would be making a dinner reservation
