| I love to sew and sew quite a bit but that's one thing I can't make without a pattern. One thing that I do that is SO easy is to buy infant clothes and adjust them to my yorkie. For example, the 6 month old infant size fits Topher perfectly...I buy little pants and cut out a hole for the tail and below the belly. For the shirts, for example when I buy a shirt with a logo on the front (which will be worn on the back of the yorkie), I make a slit all the way down the other side, take it in a few inches, then sew it back up. That way it makes up for the pup's legs being closer together than a human's. lol Did any of that make sense? I made quite a few pairs of comfy 'jammies' for Topher this way and I bought all of the items from the sale section for about a dollar a piece. he blew a sock in this picture! |
