| Line dancing Who does it? I started lessons at the senior center yesterday. fun fun fun. They actually asked me if I was 50. I assured them I'd passed that milestone a few years back. I was afraid you needed to be 60 and I have to lie about my age. LOL We learned 4 dances the first day, but she only sent home the steps for two of them for us to paractice, and a CD with the music. The Electric slide and Stayin alive, and then Achy Breaky is the same as the electric slide with one step variation. But I found some internet sites where you can download the dance steps to lots of dances. |

| I took line dance classes a few years back. I loved it! Great fun, good exercise, and a bunch of nice people -- then my lower back started acting up and I haven't been able to do it since. I would love to find a 50+ class -- maybe they would go a little easier on my ol' achey breaky back! It will have to wait a little though -- getting foot surgery next Tuesday. I must be wearing out -- Getting old can be a pain but it still beats the alternative!

| Line dancing is great fun. It's even better if you love country music. Good for you. I wish I lived closer I'd tag along. I did it for about 2years. One night a week at a local bar gave the lessons. There were 4 of us that went faithfully. We learned lots of dances and had a ball. My kids gave me a pair of Red cowboy boots for christmas that year. I still have them. The bar closed and then the local school gave classes. I joined but they were line dancing to 50's music. I love the 50's but line dancing goes with country music. IMO. I quit! Have fun. You'll love it. Post pictures in your boots. Carol & Buddy |
