| Worried about Getting a New OBGYN Dr Scent I know there is mostly girls on here, I thought I can talk about this... Well I have not had my "friend" in 4 months and I am NOT preg. So I have a APT at the end of this month to see what is going on. I am a bit worried, bc me and my hubby wants to try to have kids, SOON. I just hope, I just need medication that can fix it and that this wont make it hard for us to have kids. I have alway had my period every month... not every 28day thou but every month... and scent we moved here, its been really irregular. I am a bit worried BC I am seeing a Army OBGYN, not even sure if its a girl or boy Dr.. I have always waited to go back home to see my OBGYN Dr. That I have been seeing scent I was 16, But I know this is something that cant wait... and I know worrying about it wont make "it" come either. I just hope I get a nice OBGNY Dr and not a mean ruff one... I hate getting a Dr I have never seen before. I went through 3 OBGYN dr before I found one I like, back home... NOW I have to start all over again. I just hope I get a girl dr. Men dont know how "things" work down there and can only guess when it comes to things,As cramps... SOrry so long.. just need to get this out... Cant talk to my Hubby about it.. he just dose not understand why I am so picky when it comes to a OBGYN Dr. |

| I'm sorry you are having these troubles. I like having a female obgyn but I've had male doctors that were ok too. I hope it is nothing too serious. Why are you sure you are not pregnant? Have you had a blood test? |

One of the male Dr I had, tried to tell me the Cramps I where having, where not that bad and to take tylenol. Lets just say I flew off the handel at him bc mine get so bad I cry with them and cant really walk bc my legs feel like Jello and have cramps in them as well. And the other ones I have had are just to ruff down there... I just hope its something that can be fixed with me only taking a few pills or something... 10 more days, I will know what is going on... | |

| Well, my first guess would be your pregnant but since you have certainly ruled that out, another possibility..........and I am NOT a doctor or even remotely related to the medical field...........is that it might be PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). There are other symptoms connected to this so go to google and use their search engine and see if you have any of the other symptoms. My daughter has this condition and they treat it most effectively with "birth control pills." But having missed periods and then having really bad ones are a symptoms. This is just a thought!

| Good luck at your new obgyn doctor! Who knows...maybe the doctor will be fabulous and you'll like him/her more than your doctor back home. GOOD LUCK and keep us updated! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Sorry things are a bit out of wack now. Honestly if you want to have babies it might be best to be put on the pill for a month or two so it can totally regulate your cycle then once you get off you will get pregnant damn near instant. Hubby and I tried for four years to no avail. My period was not every 28 days but a month never passed when I didn't get it. Finally I got tired and the Dr. put me on the pill. After the second month of taking that and centrum multivitamins I stopped the pill...I got pregnant immediately. Two and a half years later I got pregnant without any assistance and then a couple years later while trying for baby number three we ran into the same road block. I took the pill for a month and stopped and wham. Seeing as your cycle sounds like mine I thought I recommend it being a thought when you are ready. I totally sympathize with you on changin OB/GYN's. It's hard to deal with because you want to be comfortable and also have a good doctor at the same time. Good luck. Husbands are not good with these sort of womens talks...lol.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Hey just another big of info. The first time I didn't find out I was preggers until I was about 3 months along. I had taken six pregnancy test and a blood test and all came back negative. Then when the morning sickness set in I took another pregnancy test and it was positive. So it might be something to think about when you do go see that doctor. Let them take the blood again just to be on the safe side. My doctor was baffled. She figured the HCG hormones were very very low and that maybe I could have been on the verge of a miscarriage and that is why it was not showing up. Good luck hon.
