| Happy ending story I love when there is a happy ending. This is the first story that was in the paper and below is the link to the happy ending...these two little ones are going to get the help they need and they are just precious.. Shelter seeks surgeon for cleft palate puppies THE ASSOCIATED PRESS November 14, 2006, 5:08 PM EST Magic and Merlin, puppies born with cleft palates that prevent them from feeding themselves, are in need of a miracle, a shelter said Tuesday. The Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center made a public appeal for the donation of a veterinarian's services to correct the pups' deformity. In the meantime, the shelter was keeping the two-week-old pups alive by feeding them through a tube every three hours. Little Shelter spokesman Marge Stein said the mixed-breed puppies were rescued from a New York City shelter, which she declined to identify, when it became clear they would be euthanized. | Thanks for sharing Magic and Merlin's story. How nice that there are so many big-hearted people in this world. Sometimes we hear so much of the negative, we forget how much kindness there really is!
