| Do you necessarily want the brand CHI or do you just want a ceramic straightener?? My sister has the CHI and I have this one: http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1650/510017 My sister's CHI cost $100 and my straightener cost about $40. And I am not just saying this, I like mine SO MUCH BETTER! My sister has gone through 2 CHIs since I have had my one Helen of Troy Strightener because hers seem to break more easily. I dunno...considering what I have seen from my sister's CHI and my knock-off, I would never buy a CHI. When something happens to my straightener, I will get another one exactly like it. |

| I just got my CHI flatiron about a week or 2 ago and I am in love with it! It works very well and the results last.

| I got mine on Ebay about 5 years ago for like 90 dollars (including shipping). Was worth every penny and haven't had any problems with it! (I got the older version the all black one with the gold ceramic) |

| I don't know about the CHI... but the fancy mall has this one that is AWESOME. You last all day and can even go out in the rain ... and your hair will STILL will be silky flat. They do demonstrations on anybody who wants to try and everybody loves them. I'm gonna get one t christmas for my daughter.. they are SUPER expensive but HONESTLY.... anything that tames frizz and makes silk hair is worth EVERY PENNY TO ME!!!!! OMG and to be able to be in a rainy misty day all dauy and its still silky straight OMG
