| I Just Discovered Wireless Key Board & Mouse! Ok, I'm no techno-dummy and have know the wireless key board and mouse exists, but I just started to use mine and WOW! I can YT even faster now! I have a Mac Powerbook and usually have it on the coffee table. I have to lean over to use the key board on the Mac and there is no 10-key pad. Weil, with the wireless I'm leaned back all comfy on the sofa, I can even use the mouse on the sofa so yippy for me! How in the world did I survive all these years without one! Do you use a wireless keyboard?

| I do... The keyboard is awesome... but the mouse is worse than a household pet! It is eating us out of house and home!!!! I am forever changing the batteries on it!!!! it eats them faster than I can go out and buy them!!!! If I had it to do over... I would have go with teh standard,,, The mouse dies at the worst times.... never when i'm goofing off... but when I am actually really busy with something pressing! Ugh! But the keyboard... not once have I ever changed the battery on it???? Darn Mouse!

| My husband's HP wireless mouse eats batteries like that. I have a Microsoft one I bought separately. It only takes one battery and lasts 10 times as long as his. I think it turns itself off when not moved for 5 minutes where his must be "on" all the time.

| I've had a Logitech keyboard and mouse for about 5 years now. I think I only have had to replace the batteries in each of them about once a year!! I had to use my MIL's computer last year when I was visiting her. She has the wired ones. Boy, did I miss mine. When I bought mine, they were about $100.00!! Now, you can find them for around $30.00.

| You may want to try NIMH rechargeable batteries. They're usually $2 to $3 each, but you can recharge them hundreds of times. They should be available pretty much anywhere now. |

| I've seen wireless mouse that has a chargring cradle. Our bookkeeper at work has one and at the end of the day she sets it in the charger. It probably cost more but I would think it's cheaper than buying new batteries all the time.
