| Found very pregent dog. Sigh I'm moving right now,and last night when it was twenty degrees I had a clawing at my door. it's a dauchund/beagle mix female with very long well. Ya know and hugely round belly. Been looking for the owner since last night ,put posters everywhere and as of an hour ago. I became the Grandmother to six newborn babies. sigh...... Bellas suoer upset, Little Mom we now call Brownie. is happy as all get out. and no one has stepped up to the plate around here as to even having seen this dog before let alone own it. She looks like a beagle with merle coloring and a standard doxie body. and super sweet and gentle. and just a pearl. Wishing like mad I could keep her but we're moving to palce where I can only keep two dogs. that's Bella my yorkie and Buddy ,my shep/mix whose a outdoor dog by choice. His not mine. sigh some days I hate people. hoping she's just alittle lost and her owners are looking. Mike and Bella and Brownie? and the Kids. |

| Ah that poor doggy! Out in the cold like that and in labor to boot! I hope she was not dropped off by her owner who did not want to deal with the pups. Bless you for giving her a temporary home and good luck with finding a family for all of them. |

| Awwwww. I hope that she was just nesting and got away from home. If this is the case the owners will be frantic and looking for her. I hope you find her home soon. |

| Awwww....aren't you just a sweetie for taking her in!!!! That is wonderful of you and your family! I wonder if she was an indoor dog (since she was wanting in somewhere, makes me think she was kept in). I hope she has a good home to go back to...sounds like she has a good one w/ you. I hope that they owners are missing her and just haven't seen the posters yet. There is no telling where she could have came from though....your street or blocks away! Good luck w/ her and the babies! I bet she and her babies are so thankful to me in a nice warm home! And....I bet they are all cuties!!! Bless you for taking her in!

What a sweet thing to say! It makes my heart soar to know that there are still people like that around. Hopefully this group can help place the Mama and puppies. Mama sounds like a perfect pet. Can we see a picture of her? | |

| Oh, I am so happy they picked your door to scratch on! Hopefully they don't end up in a shelter where they will be seen on the 24 hour left page. I pray they find thier owner or a new one who will love and take care of them. Your an angel! |

| Bless your soul for taking that poor mama in. Makes my heart hurt to imagine her without a home. Hopefully her owners will come looking for her or that you will find her a good loving home. Please don't take her or the puppies to a kill shelter. |

| Spent all day knocking on doors. No one and I mean NO ONE has admitted even seeing this dog before. I think she's a drop off. I live at the end of a long and hilly road. I'm asuming she's been dumped. sigh. well good news is I've a super landlady at the next place and I can take her if she can stay outside. grr.... sigh again. we're trying to get the stuff together I quess to make a snug outside shed/house filled stuff to keep them warm and trying to rig a outdoor heat source. I did call animal control here. as far as they know no one has called. only shelter here is a kill one. so I'm going to do my best to keep her and the kids till homes can be found. Cross Ya'll fingers. I'm going to need it. |

| That is so nice of you. Most likely she is a drop off because her previous owners do not want to take care of her. Who would let a very pregnant bitch run out of the house without supervision if they really love their dog and wants to keep them. Daschund/beagle mix is kind of small so most probably her pup can find homes easily. Will keep you in my prayers.
