| Wish me luck:) Monday is my (driver license)road test. I'm so nervous its my first try and most people I know don't pass till like the 3rd. The bad part is if you fail you have to wait another 3 weeks to try again . Edit: Oh and if you have any tips for me i'd REAALLY appreciate it Last edited by Marcellacml; 11-01-2006 at 05:21 PM. |

| I am sure you will be fine. I don't think there is any advice I can give you that you probably don't already know; use your blinkers, follow the road signs, etc...

| The only suggestion I would offer is make sure you take a vehicle that you are VERY familiar with. Preferably the one that you have been practicing with. |

| I failed when the guy told me to turn left when the light turned green and I did, but the problem was it was a green light and not a green arrow, that means I was suppose to wait for the other cars to go on the opposit side before I could turn. So, that would be my advise if its a green light and you need to turn wait for the cars on the opposite side to go first then turn, but if its a green arrow then your fine you can just turn, you don't have to wait for the other cars... GOOD LUCK You can do it...And try to keep your nerves down thats what got me...I knew I wasn't suppose to turn but did, because I was so darn nervous...

don't go faster than 20 mph correct me if I'm wrong cuz I don't want to end up telling you the wrong thing but I think 15mph is what they say you should drive. check your mirrors (even if it's already set, make the gesture) and seatbelt before you turn on the car or before you put it in drive. the lady that took the road test before me failed cuz she got so nervous, she forgot to put the gears in drive and kept stepping on the gas going nowhere. oh and do they test parallel parking in LI? I've always heard that they test parking lot parking there. GOOD LUCK!!!!

On all the lights they will have three lights, the red, yellow, and green now on the green one sometimes will have a green arrow and others do not those are the ones I'm talking about (it's just the regular green circle)...So, when your sitting at a red light and it turns green, and you need to turn, make sure no other cars on the opposit side start driving. If they do just wait for them to pass then turn...But, MOST lights will have a green arrow come on and you can just turn when you see those... You know what maybe I'm just making you more nervous you probably won't even get a light like that just relax and you will be fine...

| Good luck! Just relax when you take it, but still be alert. If your nervous your more likely to mess up. A lot of the people I know passed the first time. Now Mclass licenses I believe are A LOT harder!
