| It is funny that I happened to read your post today. I get our local paper and was looking at the pet section and there was the scam ad. Wanting to ship this Yorkie to you and he was 4 pounds and all the other word for word of the Nigeria scams. I called the classifieds and asked her about it. I told her I knew it was a scam and she pulled it up and was suprised it had gotten through. She said when they come over the internet to the paper, sometimes they get missed. I just asked to have it removed and to my relief it was gone the next say. She said she also knew it to be a scam. It is very frustrating to know that these people, whether they are puppy mills or scammers can touch so many people, who want a puppy so badly. |

| Can you believe those scammers from Nigeria and other places?? This guy in the ad I showed must have a huge operation going. Look at all the dogs?? He has every breed and mixed breed available??!! All those puppies..you know they dont get individual attention or any sort of love. Probably the only time they get picked up is the have their picture taken and delivered. That guy looks so smug in those pictures...he knows hes making a mint off these poor little fluffballs!!! Dawn |

| It is sad that there are sooo many puppymills. I live in puppymill territory. Unfortunately, there are alot of amish where I live and a majority of them are the ones that run puppymills. I never buy a puppy from my town, I always travel to another town, atleast an hour away. I am sure there are some decent breeders here, I just have not found any. Anyways, each year, a couple times a year, they hold a dog auction, they have just about every breed you can think of there. The sell for cheap but you can definately tell the are puppymill puppies and dogs. It makes me so angry that they do this!!! I have very little respect for the amish here. There are some really good amish people here which I do respect, but a majority of them have puppymills and are so cruel to the animals even their horses. You woulden't believe the conditions I have seen their horses in.

| How appalling. Also, not too wise to put your face in the ad.

| I did contact my local OSPCA and the OSPCA that is local to that mill...just to inform them that I am concerned deeply for these puppies and to ask what if anything they can do...even an investigation would be nice??!! I live in a very rural area and have never known a puppy mill around here so when I saw this ad I thought what the heck?? This IS a puppy mill. I wonder if the pet stores around here buy from him? | Grrrrrrrrrr. Look at the jerk in the pictures. Looks to be a real scheister. Also, reminds me that a couple of weeks ago I picked up one of those regional ad papers and it had a bunch of dog auctions - mostly in Missouri. There was also an ad by the Hunte Corporation for breeder classes. It was quite depressing to see so many dog auctions and they did list yorkies, too.
