| scheduled for surgery the 23rd and I am scared to death. I have been having a lot of sore throats, recurrent strep and ear aches. Went to an ear nose throat specialist who diagnosed a tonsil tag. I had my tonsils out 40 years ago at age 2! Apparently a small piece was left and now giving me fits. I was given a choice of not doing anything and it will eventually affect my heart and liver and kill me or have it removed. Guess which I chose. Because of my age, being diabetic and slow to heal along with the nature of my job (call center rep) I will be out of work for at least 2 weeks. Then to top it all just found a cavity that needs to be dealt with and I absolutely freak out at dentists. Plain scared to death. The dr even said there will be a lot of pain.

| Be strong for yourself. Your talking about your health and future here. Prayer's coming your way for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Let us all know when your up and around. Carol P.S. I have to comment on your beautiful name. My son Johnny and his wife Donna are trying for a child. I came up with the name Johnna if it were a girl. I thought I made it up! |

| Sending lots of prayers your way! I just know you will do fine and you've made the right choice. Oh, stock up on popsicles - they will help keep your throat cold which in turn will help with swelling and pain. And since you'll be out of work for 2 weeks, you can spend our time here with us

| Thanks everyone. I will be here as soon as i can I am sure. Most time off from work i am cking in here. Archie: My mom happened to hear the name and since my grandfather's name is John, she loved it. It is troublesome at times. I have been married almost 24 years and my bro in laws and 1 sis in law never pronounce it right. Though they may not like me. There is even a Johnna club on my space.

| I like your name, too. I had a friend named Johnna when I was in elementary school and I really liked her. Try not to dwell on the pain. They have ways to keep it minimal these days. I'm even betting the dr is saying that to prepare you for something that won't be as bad as you think. I know surgery is scarey. I hope you heal better than you think you will. As far as the dentist goes, just ask for some laughing gas, too. It relaxes people who are scared of dentists.
