| Maxiglide.... Hi ya'll! Just thought I'd share with you guys.... I purchased a hair straightner about a week ago... it's called Maxiglide by Maxius... I absolutely LOVE it!!! I don't have curly hair, but I use it because it takes ALL of the frizz out of my hair. I only paid $80 for it. It works wonders..let me tell you! LOL When my mom and dad flew down from Michigan to come visit, I insisted on my mom letting me try it out on her. She has naturally curly hair and it's really frizzy from her dying it all the time.. I straightened her hair and she was amazed! I would not give this thing up for anything! LOL Just thought I'd share with you guys, incase any of you would like to have something like this... It's good for people who have curly hair, that want their hair to be straight - OR - for people like me, whose hair gets frizzy... it really, really works great! |

| Where'd you get it? I have some natural waves in my hair and I tried a straightener once...was sposed to put it in and then keep combing it straight. Each stroke of the comb had gobs of hair in it that had broken off or pulled out! I thought to myself, "Sh*t oh dear...what have I done?" Thank goodness I have a very thick head of hair and it wasn't too noticeable except for the new growth sticking up straight off my head. LOL Is this stuff a permanent thing or is it something you use daily or weekly? Thanks for the info! Glad you're happy with your find! |

| I got it from mine from shopathometv.com Actually, I just went on the site, and they have it on sale for $79.96 with free shipping...cheaper than when I bought mine. I use mine daily, after I get out of the shower. You are suppose to let your hair dry naturally (without blow drying it) then straighten it, but sometimes I don't have time, so I dry it then straighten. It isn't permanent... but once you straighten it, it will stay like that until you wash it. It hasn't damaged my hair at all... but it does say on the package that if you have thin hair (like mine) not to put it above a 5 on the temp. setting. But I would HIGHLY recommend it! I love it so much, and I am glad I didn't go and buy one of those ones that cost like $200... when this one DEFINANTLY does the job!
