| Yorkie Puppy Mill Bust Hmm..I'm not sure if this has been posted, but in my quest to find an adoptable sister for Stump I came across this. This group busted a puppy mill, and some how had the owners surrender some of their puppies. The problem is where they are located it isn't against the law. But Just seeing the before and after pictures on this site are crazy! I'll post the link but WARNING: Sad Pictures!! http://preciouspawspekeandtzu.com/ |

| I saw little Tulip. She was a doll. I have my eye on little Chopstix from one of the other threads, but I'd love one of these pups too. It it just so disgusting. My grandma has a pomeranian who is 6 and came from a puppy mill. She had been bred over and over and over and she is terrified of people and other dogs. But she has learned to trust my grandma. It's so sad seeing how that affects not only their health but their behavior too. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I'm sitting here in tears right now! this is just the most grosome thing I have ever seen, that is just horable! How can ANYONE treat these babies like this and get away with this crime? I swear I would take as many of these babies that they needed me to take, I'm just devastated by this! I'm serious! I would drive to TN and pick up how ever many babies I could and find them great forever homes. This is just so disturbing to me!! |

I told her I would come down tomorrow and pay for whatever vet bills it needed + sign a spay contract! I am so upset right now, I really wanted to help, why these rules? Just becaue I live in a different state, I am a bad mom? grrrrrrrrrr.... going to cry |

| My alarm bells are ringing about this Precious Paws place. First of all, I don't think the owners "surrendered" the dogs. I think the people from Precious Paws purchased the dogs to rescue them - which is a big No-No in my mind. It only encourages puppy mills and financially supports them. Their adoption fees range from $150-500, and they specifically state that they will buy dogs if it's the only way to "rescue" them. Secondly, why did they not turn the place into the registering body? The AKC or ACA (and most other registering bodies) would have inspected immediately and suspended their membership, which greatly reduces profits. Thirdly, they are very misleading in their statements that there are NO animal cruelty laws in their area. I looked it up on Google and found: http://network.bestfriends.org/westt...oalition/news/ This is the website for the local ASPCA, and they have a link to the TN Animal Cruelty Laws. I looked at the document, and it says, in part: Quote:

I'm sorry, but I think There is something extremely fishy going on at Precious Paws.
