I go back to school.

I have no idea where this summer went (don't say YT lol. I, actually, wasn't on here that much.) It's been a very eventful few months, but I'm not ready to go back. Not looking forward to it at all. But I just have to keep reminding myself that there's TONS of fun things to do this year! For starters: I have auditions for the musical in probably 2 or 3 weeks, then we have the Haunted River Walk around Halloween (it's THE BEST), then we have unity day, then the camp mason trip, then the Great Adventure trip, then the 8th grade Banquet (sp), then graduation. OK so it'll be pretty fun.

I'm still pretty nervous. Anywho, I'll be cutting back majorly on computer time because I'm really going to try to do really well this year. So...yeah. wish me luck!

Good luck on your problem of going back to school, Megan! Actually, it sounds to me like you have a ton of good stuff to look forward to after school starts. And I'm sure next summer vacation will be here in no time!

I'm home.

It went wonderfuly actually. My teachers are all great. (and most of them have a hysterical sense of humor.) classes that I hated last year I really think I'm going to enjoy this year. The best part is: WE RULE THE SCHOOL! YES! the 4th graders are terrfied of all of us. Whenever one of us walks past them, they stop short. it's hysterical. One of the hardest adjustments for me today was that my music teacher left during the summer. 2 of my friends and I were all really close with her and we went to music club every day, so that was hard for us to deal with walking into the room and not seeing her. The new guy is pretty cool though (and not bad on the eyes either...hehe) Found out that our fall musical will be Fiddler on the Roof. (I really didn't want to do it...but whatever.) all in all I think it'll be a good year!

Ahh! Don't remind me... lol I go back to UW the end of Sept... but thank god it will be my LAST YEAR then I can finally graduate!! whoo hoo! then spend 24/7 with Princess...!! LOL!! hahahaha

It could be worse. My Daughter goes to a year round school and she went back mid July. I bet youll have a fun year. Enjoy yourself

It sounds like you are going to have a great year! and with all the things you have planned the time will just fly by! You know when you are older,as hard as it is to believe, you will really miss school, school is the best time of your life!

haha, im the same as you! i started again about 2 weeks ago and well, i still hate school more than last year

in the work way, but besides the work, everything else is going okay, if u saw my other thread it explains how stressed i am, but i know its gonna be a good year. plus, ricardo arjona's (a famous latin singer who my sister happens to love) son likes me and, yes i like him back

hes really funny and sweet and cool, and...very hott

lol, so, even though both of us YT ''youngsters'' are back in school, it sounds like we have good times ahead!

Man, the school's here started back the beginning of August!

Hubby''s high school is year round, so they only got 4 weeks for summer.

wow! we were at the beach in the beginning of August lol. But we also didn't get out until June 19th.

BTW - second day was a blast. teachers are still really funny. My Social Studies teacher was having people in the class name the 4 continents that start with A. and Joey went, "Mr. M, is Alaska a continent?" and we all went hysterical laughing. the teacher just looked at Joey and went, "....if you want it to be." lol.

OH, well, everyone here got out the end of May, so I guess that makes sense. I do feel a little jipped though....I never got a "Fall Break"

BTW, I can name the continents....but I'd have to have a calculator and help to add more than 2 + 2.
