| Do you believe in psychics? I was watching Sylvia Brown on the Montel show and got to thinking. I know she seems to be really psychic on the show, but I hear very little followup about if she was right on her predictions. Do you believe some people are really psychic? I am just wondering how common it is that everyday people experience "knowing" that something is going to happen before it happens. Have YOU ever known or felt that something significant was going to happen and then it did? |

| I believe. They have had some followups with Sylvia and she is right on the money on most. She is the only one who will actually name names when talking about crimes. I think she is wonderful. I have been told i am psychic. I usu know if something bad is going to happen, I do not usu know what but get a very bad feeling. For example I had a bad feeling the 2 days before my dtr was involved in a bus wreck. The funny part was when my bro in law (the one I call the bad one) used to just show up (no advance warning) from Ga and pull in to our driveway at about 2 or 3 in the morning. He would not ring the bell, just stay in his car. I would usu tell dh (his brother) that x would show up that night. I was only wrong when he had planned to show and his wife made him stay home or 1 wkend I was at a girl scout retreat. My mom is sick or hurt a lot. One night the phone rang and dh answered I immediately asked what was wrong with my dad, I just knew.

| I believe that Sylvia just released a new book that is in fact a followup to her predicitions. Some of the stuff in the book is about cases she helped to solve. I believe that she is real. I think that most of us have psychic abilities we just don't always know how to channel them.

| I have had a few kind of eerie things happen. One day when I was talking to my Dad, I knew it was the last time I would see him. I don't know how I knew it but I just did. Then when my Mom died, I had a very eerie experience happen to me. I didn't realize what it was at the time but the next day when I found out my Mom had died, I knew why this happened to me. Has anyone else had this type of experience? I have been told it is very common. |

| I have woken up and looked at the clock and find out the next day that is the time a family member died. edited to add: My biggest problem is I do not have enough confidence to believe my instincts or feelings. I usu just try to shrug bad feelings off.

| I think Sylvia Browne is really good. She's on Montel every Wednesday and sometimes on Friday. (I don't watch Montel, only when she's on.) I would love to have a chance to speak with her, but she is expensive. They usually do a follow up show now and then to show just how accurate she is, not just about law enforcement help, but things happening in the world. I do remember when she said Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston would break up and I thought how sad, and then they did. My mother went to a psychic once and the psychic told my mother that she (my mother) had a daughter who was a b****. All my mom said was "well, she can be, but isn't generally". Good comeback Mom!!!! LOL

| No I do not believe in them. I believe that anything they may guess or say comes from a different source and not from anything they personally come up with(demons, devil) Something the devil or his demons are trying to tell someone, I do NOT want to hear. That is just my opinion.

| I had a dream that my stepsons (who live in VA) came to our house (in SC) and started loading everything that belonged to my husband (tools, personal items, everthing) into a truck. They said it would be easier since he was working in VA at the time. 2 days later, I got a call from my stepson that my husband had just passed away very unexpectedly from a heart attack (he was healthy and as strong as a bull). A few weeks later, they came down to our house with a truck to pick up all his tools. I gave the tools to them since they were in bsnss together and needed the tools for the bsnss. I don't believe in all psychics. A person can appear psychic very easily, and we can make predictions fit to our own lives. But, I sincerely believe that people make strong emotional bonds with others that can cause premonitions of things that are going to happen, whether they realize it at the time or not. I don't know if this qualifies as psychic, but there are things that happen, that just can't be rationally explained. ESP, maybe. |

| I was on 'Crossing Over' with John Edward. It was "WAY" back in time...The show had not even been aired yet, they were still doing lots of tapings and getting ready for the debut! I was 'lucky' enough to be a part of the 'One on One' sesions. He was really good. And then a year or two later, they came to my apartment (No John Edward though) to do a 'follow-up'. I am a STRONG believer. |

| Sylvia Browne made a prediction about 2 years ago that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick would be the next celeb couple to split within a year... never happened. Ever since then I've taken her with a grain of salt. I do believe that some people are much more intuitive than others though and can be perceived as psychic.
