| Webite questions! I hope this is not a silly question to ask. But I have no clue how to start up a webite! How do I do it? Where can I do it? Is it costly? Amber is due the first of September and I would love to have a website done by then. Thank You, Denyel |

| call a teenager... they know all this much better than we do... LOL... but REALLY, I had a teenager make the one for my Cheerleading Team site and it is GREAT! Check around at schools, they are always looking for things to do and learn.... mine is www.southernstarscheerleading.com and was all created by a 14 year old! d

| I used www.geocities.com when I first started out with a free site. The ads got to be a pita, so now I have geocities pro. It pretty much walks you through it.

| Go to www.cooondawgs.com and take a loook around. This is who is building mine the first of September. the cost is 75. plus 10 for hosting and then I think it is 25. per year. There are some great samples of their work on theree and you get all kinds of email addresses and five pages. your website shows up on Google and several other search engines. i found out from a beagle site my hubby belongs to and they do websites for all kin ds of dogs. |

| i'm no good at this either but yahoo lets you make a free web page/site and walks you through it or you could make a myspace and that is fairly easy too it really depends on what you are looking for ... good luck and congrats in advance! |

| There are a lot of Internet Service Providers that offer free website hosting and setting up with step by step instructions. If you prefer not to have to have a gigantic URL address meaning "http://www.geocities.com/blah blah/blahblahhhh/blah", you can use a couple of programs like Microsoft Publisher (get how to use manuals used at Amazon). Then you would need to host the name of your site w/someone. Godaddy is a large, reliable website. You can host there and pick your website name, like "myfirstyorkie.com" or whatever that isn't already taken. Make sure you don't choose anything like ".org" because that is orc reserved for organizational type sites. Churches, etc. I will stop here as some of it may be confusing, but at least you would have total control over the content, etc. w/out a bunch of advertising and spyware involved when people visit your site. |

| lol @ the ask a teenager comment! i love making websites. it's not really costly if you do it yourself you just need to pay for a domain name if you want one. if you pay someone to do it for u the cost will depend on what u want. |

| Yougetthesmiles, Do you recommend registering your own domain name? It's like 12.95 a year and you keep control of it. Will you still have the long name to access your website or will it simply be your domain name? |
