| Please pray for my friend. one of my good friends had hodgekins disease(sorry can sp) when she was a senior in high school. she went through chemo and recovered but not long after that found had she had cancerous cell in her cervix (not cancer but could develop into it) she went the 3 procedures of having her cervix frooze and finally another procedure(can't think of name) and in february found out they were gone and is cancer free. yesterday she called me and was on her way to UAMS b/c she found another lump on her neck. the doctors decided to give it a month and see if it grows then go from there. so i'm asking everyone to say a short prayer for her. i'm a strong believer in the power of prayer. she just turned 21 and is one of the sweetest most loving person you could know. she doesn't deserve this but has been dealt this hand and no matter what the outcome she will make it through. she just needs support and lots of prayer. |

| My daughter-in-law had cervix cancer when she was about that age and had that same proceedure ... she is 37 now and we have a beautiful 15 yr. old granddaughter that the doctor's said she would never have!! She is still checked about every 6 months and never had any recurrence ... so tell Trista to keep her chin up and we will all be praying that her news will be good! Miracles do happen every day!! Hope she gets a Yorkie ... they are great "stress" relievers and that girl has gotta be having lots of that!!

| I am so sorry for your friend Trista I will remember her in my prayers. I had this about 6 years ago and had to undergo 6 procedures and everything came out fine but oh top of her other condition she has a load to carry. Yes a Yorkie would be a nice stress reliever.

| you guys are the best thank you all so much i can't wait to tell her all the wonderful things you all are saying it makes me teary eyed. i know it will give her comfort knowing that so many are praying for her. yes yorkies are good stress relievers as soon as she saw nala her face lite up and the tears dried up. we are going to see her in just a little while. she doesn't know it but her boyfriend is trying to save up to buy her one but it's hard when your young and have bills to pay but he is trying he wants to tell her to cheer her up but he really wants to surprise her. she will be so happy. she deserves it. you all just wouldn't believe what wonderful things she does. when she worked at a nursing home here she would sing to them and even goes back now and sings for them she's done so much for so many people including me and she's hard somewhat of a hard life but she never stops giving to others. i'm sorry i'm going on and on but i'm sitting her crying thinking about all the wonderful things she's done and i guess it just angers me that she has and still is going through all this. thanks for letting me vent. you guys are all very sweet! |

| I will pray for Trista! I also believe in the power or prayer. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years back. I felt so helpless but made myself busy putting her on prayer chains...not only local, but did a search on the internet for prayer requests and chains and put her name on many. By rights, my sister's cancer should have spread, but it was all contained. The doctors and surgeons were dumbfounded, but we all knew she had been healed and it was the power of prayer. Today she is fine and healthy and I will pray for that for Trista! Hugs to you and Trista! |

| I was listening to Rush Limbaugh (don't jump me, I like Rush!), yesterday, and he gave $300,000.00 to fight blood cancers! His show was dedicated to fighting these diseases and raising money for the research. He does this once a year. Anyway, he said that 85% of childhood Leukemia is curable now and they are making great progress with Hodgkins too! I hope your friend will be one of the survivors!! |
