You cant blame the kid cuz at thate age they really don't know any better, but the father should've led the kid away from the dog, or told him to not do that. And if he was drinking why the hell was he alone w/ the kid? Yeah let's leave a one yr old w/ a drunk man...real smart! Glad your babies OK though! | |

| Yea the kid is too young to know any better but the Father should have reacted better. If it were My Daughter I would have made her appologize. Some people let their kids get away with everything and it does no good for the kid.

| I have 4 puppies right now there 8 weeks old. Back to the topic my two step children as playing with them about 3 weeks ago I was right there with them they are 6 & 7 years old and I had to keep telling them that they were babies. It's a shame that parnets don't teach their children these thing I guess just because I did I thought everybody did. WRONG he was a big jerk and need to be punched in the nose for both reasons. |

| I am glad Austin is okay, only thing I am going to say so I don't get people mad is that my kids are 22 & 21 they were not angels in anyway but they did mind & would be corrected if they didn't..if you don't teach them at a young age, then God help you when they get older...

| It's totally the parent's fault when stuff like that happens. People need to quit making dumb excuses for their "cute little kid's" BAD BEHAVIOR. I took my son to Birch's Aquarium last weekend and the kids were all sitting down petting some sea cucumber thing. Well my 4 year old went to pet it and this 2 year old hits him in the arm! I couldn't believe it! Then the mom laughed and said, "Oh, it's because my son thinks it's HIS!" I was so shocked that I assumed that it was kind of a one time incident and he wouldn't do it again. My son tried to pet it again and the kid HIT MY SON AGAIN! Then I said, "OKAY, that's enough and I moved inbetween my son and the demon child." The mom STILL didn't correct him or apologize. Five minutes later the kid was throwing plastic toys into the petting area aquariums IN with the live animals. Everyone was shocked and looking at him. I stopped the 2 year old from throwing more and I was like, "Where is your mom!!!??" Then she turned around (she was petting something) and looked for her kid and I told her what he did and she still didn't even tell him "No" or what he did was wrong, she just picked him up and was playing with him. People need to tell their kids when they do something wrong, they don't find out for themselves. Some people raise their kids to act worse than animals. |

| I don't reall think 1 year old is very old to know not to come over and whack the strollller...HOWER The parent was plenty old enough to pick him up and tell him NOOOOOOOOOO. It takes ALOT of NO's to make a child finally understand sometimes .... but apparently the parent needs to actually START saying it and taking appropriate actions. I can't tell you how many times i had to LEAVE someplace with my children because they were acting up. No way I would let them keep being rude and causing a disturbance . SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHH I missed out on alot because I had to leave... but as a parent... you gotta do what you gotta do

| I dont think a one year old would know better....That is a baby...It takes a LOT of repetition.... I can tell you that in my area, some people think that attack dogs are the best...so I have taught my children that they do not touch someone else's dog, even if the owner invites them, they are to say, no thank you, but it is a pretty dog.... For a variety of reasons..my oldest child is an asthmatic with a lot of alergies...sometimes people use doggy colognes....infectious doggy illnesses that they might bring home to our dogs...as well as unknown doggy behavior. I make exception of course when we know the family of the dog pretty well... Just me though... The drunk dad in charge of a baby kinda' tops the cake though... Where was wondermom? I wonder.
