| Know of a good wood cleaner?? I am just so proud of myself. I went to an auction yesterday and won the bid for a 3 piece oak bedroom suite. It has the tall dresser, wide dresser with mirror and headboard with frame and mattress and box springs for $275. It looks brand new (as well as the mattress and box springs). My Mom bought the mattress and box springs from me for $100 so I only spent $175. Even though the bedroom suite looks brand new, I want to clean it anyway, really good. Does anyone know of an excellent wood cleaner? Thanks in advance.

| Depending on the finish that is on the wood you could use Murphy's Oil Soap...this is good to wash cabinets and stuff like that if it is really dirty. If the wood is dry, you might want to use Scott's Liquid Gold. It is oily and will restore the wood to a beautiful shiny finish. If you have a Lowe's or Home Depot I would go there and ask someone in that department what to use. Those guys are up to date on products and what is good for them. If you don't have either of those, check with a furniture store for suggestions. Good luck! I love it when I get a good deal like that!!!

| My mom loves murphy's wood oil. That's the only thing she found to use on her hardwood floors in our old house. I recently cleaned all my cabinets with it and boy what a difference. Also just for ordinary dusting orange glo sure does make furniture look good. I usually use pledge but everynow and then I use orange glo. It does leave an oily film for a day or so afterwards though, but it sure does shine. And congrats on your good deal. My mom loves garage sales and auctions. We don't really have anything good down here so every now and then she calls bragging about what goodie she found that day. Although its nice to give her a list of things I want for her to be on the lookout for. Congrats again...
