| Help! "Pasty" in PA Can anyone recommend a good self tanner? I typically tan really well in the summer but since I had an issue with a melanoma (actually on the borderline of developing into a melanoma) a few years ago I avoid the sun like the plague or use sunscreen with SPF 45. I'm Italian so I've always tanned really well and didn't use sunscreen for years Yes-I now know that it wasn't very wise of me. I would like to have a little color because I'm looking like a ghost right now but don't want to look orange or look like I have a fake tan. Has anyone used Dove Energy Glow Daily Moisturizer with self-tanner? Does it work? Or is there something else that works well and does not look fake?

| Mystic Tan works pretty well. They have it in Tanning Salons and its a spray on tan and goes on very evenly. I have done that a few times |

| Nutrogena makes a product I use throughout the winter...no one's told me I look orange yet! Good luck, and good for you staying out of the sun!

| I just got some from Estee Lauder and it is really good. I can't remember the name though, I think it is the only one they carry.

| I've used a few different ones. I would reccomend neutragena or victorias secret bare bronze (thats what I'm using now). I heard good things about the Jergens too and saw a lady who was using it, she did not look orange. Actually, from all the self-tanners I have tried I never turned orange from them. Mystic tan doesnt last as long as it's supposed to, and when it starts to fade in like 3-4days you will have blotches, I wouldn't reccommend it unless you needed to be tan ASAP. Also, w/ mystic tan you would have to go like 2x a week, so depending on your budget it can be a lot. Also, I used the Loreal before and it looked great! I looked like I just got back from the carribean, until it faded and I had white blotches on the insides of my elbows, and everywhere my skin touches other skin on me (back of my knees, etc. |

| I love Fake Bake! I use it on my face and neck as I don't tan well in these areas! I got it from my beautician who got it at the beauty supply store. It does not make me orange either...the tan actually matches what I get in the tanning bed.
