| Rejection Emails? Are you kidding me!?!?! I apply for about 10-15 jobs A DAY! I am so annoyed with all the rejection letters and a bit put off by the companies that don't even send letters anymore, they just email big fat rejections! Sorry, guess I'm just frustrated and needed to vent. In all reality I have applied for a lot of jobs that are way over my head, but really, rejection EMAILS? Puuuhhhlllleeeaaasseee have some courtesy so at least I have something to wallpaper my fridge with. ugh! |

| I completely agree with you.....I do not like rejection emails either....I think the least a company can do is send a letter. I recently went through the process of applying for a new job and I could not believe after 3 months of waiting and being told to wait a little longer ...all I got was a short blunt email saying "thanks but no thanks". ( What surprised me even more was I was recruited by this company to apply for this job and had many inside staff as personal references....yet I did not even get a second look at the job and no matter who I knew, I still got a silly rejection email. I truely feel sorry for anyone currently seeking a job right now!!! (I have a good job and after this experience I am grateful for my job and look at it in a completely new light!!) Good luck in your job search!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Well...THE good thing about any rejection emails or letters is you KNOW you don't need to ever contact them again. OR you could find out WHY you were rejected and schedule another meeting - that MAY work in your favor ? I'm DREADING Getting back into full time work. I was laid off 4 years ago...the GREAT thing was I finally got my yorkie... baby Chanel - the bad thing is I will HAVE to get back in the work force because my husband can no longer work and I need to plan for my future. It's SO hard to think about - he doesn't want me working now because he needs me...but with him as sick as he is - I am so scared for my future. That sounds so selfish but I really am up in the air. Got any tips ? |

| How about substituting in local school. I do that aside from my flex job and it pays well. Its NOT everyday but when they call me which is like 4-5times a month its $120/day.

| what a bummer! I hate having to work, but I'm thankful I have a really good job. Just keep trying and something has to work eventually. Do you have any sales experience? Want to be a drug rep? My company is always looking for people.

Let me see...I've done secretarial for approx 15-10 years - Favorite job - secretary to a psychologist. I worked for a Machine Distributor company - Inside Sales - then ran the office - I worked at a Aircraft Sales, Charter & Maintenance Company (& Flight School) for 6 years - and still work for myself selling Brochures for small companies - that's considered outside Sales.....Then...the last 4 years helping my husbands company - He did the sales - I did the rest. Teri - I'm interested in what company you work for - I may pm you. Thanks for the responses - I have done temp work - with this 4 year gap between jobs - they tend to frown on that
