| Help cheer Valerie on....... Remember this? I am about to do it again! (Except this time, my husband does not know I'm going!) I attached a picture so you can (sortof) see how long my hair has grown since last May. I hope to cut about 12 inches off (yes, a whole foot) and so it will be right above my shoulders, maybe chin-length. I'm so nervous....this is a big deal to me! I need some encouragement. It's for a good cause, and I need a haircut anyway......I want to cut like 8-9 in. off for the summer, but why not go a couple of extra inches for such a good cause? I mean, it will grow back - mine grows back fast! Eeek! What am I about to do to myself? LOL!

| That's really really awsome of you.... All you have to do is think of the kids that do not have your wonderful kind of hair and I'm sure it will make it very easy for you to get it done. BRAVO, your such a great person for this.... Crystal

| I think that's really fantastic and it's for such a good cause I used to have really long hair--a bit longer than yours. I needed a change so I got it chopped about 8 years ago and have had varying degrees of short hair since then. I LOVE short hair--especially for summer. There are so many cute short styles that you can get. And like you said-it will grow back if you don't like it.

| I say do it again. My cousin used to do it every year. She has really thick hair so she would chop it off in the summer anyway. She's in college now and I don't really hear about her too much so I don't know if she's doing it anymore. My hair gets to a certain point and just quits growing so I can't do something like this even if I wanted. Go for it, it'll grow back (its always easy to say that when its someone else who's getting the hair cut huh?)

| That is wonderful! You'll do it again I'm sure, and it will look great. I don't know if I could do it.. everytime I cut mine short, which isn't to often, I regret it the first time I see someone with long hair.. But YOU go girl.. ha. It grows back..so you can do it again, and again..

What is it with men and long hair. My husband gets really upset with me anytime I get my hair cut. Of course mine has never been as long as yours but, the older I get the thinner mine gets and it's curly so, I just decided to keep it around shoulder lenght with layers. Anyway, sorry. If you really want to do this for a great cause I say go for it. You have beautiful red hair and someone is going to be very lucky to get it.
