| Missed..... Ok.. I hope this is not too foward .... but I just started thinking reading someone else's thread...... I have not gotten my period since October of last year..... I have always been irregular...the doctors would just prescribe a small amount of 7 mg pills to regulate me and BOOM... well ever since I got married almost 4 years ago this June 21st ... I have always been regular.. but now I am not again... took prego tests but I am not.. so does anyone have any idea what it could be? I know if I go to the doctor they will just prescribe the same pills.... any suggestions... thanks!! |

| I was always really irregular, sometimes I'd go a year without my period! After my 3rd pregnancy I suddenly became as regular as clockwork. It's all hormones. In my case I didn't ovulate and they said I had fibrocystic ovary disease. I used to blow it off, but I've since found out that it's not good to do that. You should go on the pill to become regular. the hormone imbalance isn't healthy for you. In the long run it can mess up your body because you don't go through normal cycles. I'd go back to the Dr. if it was me.

| Have you seen an endocrinologist to rule out things like hypothyroidism, PCOS, and other hormonal imbalances. All these things can cause missed periods...as well as stress, low body fat percentage (I do NOT have to worry about that one!!!LOL) and a few other things that my tired mind can't pull to thought right now. BCP will regulate you and prevent this in the future, as long as there are no other underlying disease processes. I would start with my OBGYN and have them run an amenorrhea panel of labs to see what transpires. Good luck!

| That happened to my best friend and she has polysystic ovaries. She's been on BC Pills for years.
