| Congratulations on selling your home, I don't understand it at all about burying St. Joseph, but if it works it works. |

| Hey guys! Most of the times when you bury St. Joseph in the ground it does work. I am a realtor and I tell my clients all the time.. Good luck on the sale of your home.... Gina |

| LOL. That is so funny. My mom did that and the house sold, but about 5mos later the market went haywire and she could have gotten 100k more if we waited just a little longer to sell. the trick is to bury a statue or metal of St. Joseph (the carpenter & Jesus' "father") He is the patron saint of homes. Lots of Catholics do this; it is kind of like a superstition. Bury it near the for sale sign Here's an article I found just now on google: http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/rea...20040831a1.asp

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | very cool! congratulations!! My neighbors are trying to sell their house. I don't really like them....maybe I'll go bury a St. Joseph by their for sale sign.

| We tried this with our first house, it took several months to sale - we were happy with that though because we were selling it ourselves. I heard you had to bury it a certain way - maybe facing away from your house? Does anyone remember? A neighbor (we live out in the country, so the closest person to us is considered our neighbor) gave us the statue (it was small and plastic, about 4-5 inches tall), they were from Ill. or Iowa and used it on their place when they sold it. When our house sold, we gave it back to them - then a few years later, they sold their place and moved to Texas. Does anyone know where you can get one? I need to google it. Thanks for sharing this, I had forgotten all about that - course, everyone thought we were nuts when we told them about it, glad we aren't the only ones that have done it!
