They just announced on Extra that a big name group has offered Chris the jpb of lead singer of their band. I though the said the group was like Fuel or something like that. I'm not familiar with that group.

OMG!!! I love Fuel!!!!!!!!!!! They are so awesome!! I saw them in concert & got to go backstage & got my pic with them!! They are so nice!! I hope he takes the job!!!

Thanks for the update! - I knew we would hear good news about him soon, didn't think this soon, but I'm not surprised. WAY TO GO!!!

Doesn't he already have a band too? I think they were in the audience several times.

He would be crazy not to take it. Not many big bands just go out and ask someone to be in their band especially a singer he just performed on of their songs TV. I personally think them asking him is little unfair to the established/professional musicans that auditioned for the band 2 weeks. From what I hear with it was a pretty tough weekend for them.

I hate to rain on anyones parade but I heard on the radio earlier that he didnt sign a contract it was just that a member from the band asked supposibly. Extra reported it as a sure thing...Just speculation they say. I hope I am wrong but this is what I heard earlier ....I guess it will be verified later....

I also heard that there is a petition of over 16,000 people calling for a recount of Chris's votes.....b/c they say when they called the number for Chris to vote for him, the automated message was Katherine McPhee!

But that's most likely rumor but still, imagine if they really screwed up!
