| Chicken Pox!! I just came from the dr with my 6 yr old and was told that he has the chicken pox!!! He's had the shot but apparently we are seeing an epidemic of chicken pox(with or without the shot) and the mumps here right now, so I'm told. Poor baby is miserable. Anyone else having this in their area? |

| I live in WA State and I just went through this with all of my children a few weeks ago. All of them had also had the vaccination and still came down with a mild case. The doctor said there is a huge outbreak in my area right now. Good luck, oh, and a small piece of advice........Aveeno Oatmeal Bath works great on reliefing the itch!!

| Poor Baby, Oatmeal Baths, Video Games, TV & Ice Cream will make him feel better I'd give him the Ice Cream first, that always works!

| There have been a lot of kids in our area that have come down with Chicken Pox that have had the vaccine. Haven't heard of any mumps here yet. Doesn't sound like the vaccine is working too well . My boys had all had chicken pox before the vaccine came out, so we never had to get it.
