| He's Just Not That Into You Has anyone read this book? I just picked it up today. I've been seeing a guy for a few months. He was great while he lived here, but he just moved an hour and a half away for work. We still talk, but not as often as we did. I went to his hometown with my friends (one who lives there) about a month ago and he was being very friendly with another girl at a cabaret. But of course, I just made excuses for him and things were good with us after that. So I went shopping today and saw this book which I've heard so much about, and I bought it. I read the first two chapters and cried. Yep. He's just not that into me. This book is definitely an eye-opener.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | As a wise "old" woman...let me tell you....if he doesn't call you...it is not because he's working, playing, or too busy....if they want to...they will. That was a hard concept for me to grasp too, but I finally "got" it Good luck single friends.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I told my dtr yesterday I was going to get her that book. Since her BF of 2 1/2 years dumped her in a bad way last July she dates these random guys and they either don't call when they say or they are busy. I told her she shouldn't call them if they don't call when they say like Bchgirl said if they wanted to they would! I m definately going to get her taht book or is that mean of me?

| I just called him and I had every intention of telling him what we had is over... But he was at a hockey game and we didn't talk for too long. He still took the time to ask me how I'm doing, how my week was, what's new with me and stuff. So I second guessed myself. Then he said he should get back to the game so I told him to call me next week when I'm studying for finals so he can give me a study break. He said he'll definitely do that and I said "no you won't." And he said "yes I will" I guess I'll see how it goes... If he doesn't I guess he's not worth me calling him anymore.

| I browsed through a few chapters of that book. There's actually a retort to that book called Be Honest--You're Not That Into Him Either: Raise Your Standards and Reach for the Love You Deserve |

| I read this book and I have tried to give it to a few clueless girlfriends. I think that it is truthful book, but I think that most girls that routinely put themselves in bad relationships, don't want to hear it. I have seen Greg Behrendt do stand up too and he is hilarious. Good luck and as Greg says don't waste the pretty on some guy who isn't worthy of you. |

| OMG I can't believe this thread!!! I drove 25 minutes to our nearest bookstore TONIGHT to buy the book!!! I have already read the book "Its called a breakup because its broken" book (excellent book, by the way) and I wanted to get the "He's just not into you" book. I had been seeing a guy for about a month when he started coming up with all these lame excuses for not calling..... getting low on his cell phone minutes, FELL ASLEEP, etc..... Red flags were popping up left and right. He came over last Friday and I haven't heard from him since then. SO -- I'm guessing He's Just Not That Into Me. I hate the dating life!!! Men are such pigs. (no offense to the good ones out there -- if there are any ) I am looking forward to reading the book -- I've heard nothing but good things. Most of it is common sense I think -- but sometimes we need to see it in black and white for it to register. lol |

| Yes, I have that book, it's the first one all my friends go for...as most of them should. It's all comman sense, when ya read it, you say,, Yep, I knew that, I think that fact that it's written by a man, woman say " Oh, Now I get it." When ya know, you got it along time ago,, ya just didn't wanna get it.. Same for women... if ya wanna be with them or call,,, you do,, no excuses,, you just do it, if you're into them.
