| Bausch & Lomb Recall Just wanted to let you know about this in case you haven't heard it. ReNu with MoistureLoc contact lens solution is being taken off the shelves because it is believed to be causing a type of keratitis which can also lead to blindness. I saw it on the news last night and sure enough, it is what I've been using for about the last two months. I'm dumping it and getting something different. That'll be one thing on my priority list of "to do's" for today!

| great thread! i manage an optomestrists office and we are dealing with the brunt of this. we NEVER recommended Renu in the first place, so none of patients were really affected, but we have been getting tons of phone calls as to what to use instead. Two brands that we suggest arre OptiFree or Complete. They all say no rub, but please remember to rub your contacts lense to prevent protein build up. also, be advised that saline solution DOES NOT disinfect. lol thanks for listening to my public service annoucement!!

| Thanks for the info, Yorkielover...I think I'll go back to using the Complete...I used that before and don't know why I switched to Basch and Lomb...I think it's the sample I got the last time I was to the eye doctor and just stuck with it.
