| This is amazing, you'll have to try it more than once Can you figure out how this works??? 1) Go to the link below. After reading each window, click on the boy in the lower right corner of the picture. 2) In the last window type in your answer in the white box using the keyboard (there is NO cursor). 3) Watch the paper in the boy's hand. You will be amazed.. and no, I don't know how it's done. http://digicc.com/fido/ |

| WOW!!! Okay, that was amazing! I did it twice just to make sure the first time wasn't luck. Then I sat there and studied my numbers to see how that was done. If anyone knows, tell me please!

| Well, I just stumped him twice. I picked 444 - 222 and he gave me the wrong number then I did 333 - 222 and he gave me another wrong number. Some one else try that.

| Alright, it bothered me so much I put an email into a friend of mine who is some sort of math prof at the University, anyway this is what he says about it... It's a function of the numbers. Regardless of the number you choose, when you rearange the numbers to make the new number, and then do the subtraction step, the digit's of the NEW number all add up to a multiple of 9. So, by removing one of the digits and then typing in the remaining ones, the number you circled is easy to determine, simply by adding the digits you typed in together, and then subtracting _that_ number for the next multiple of 9. LOL I have no idea still but for those of you who wanted to know I am just gonna sum it up as "a strange property of numbers" LOL
