| Why are they always sick when you have plans!? LOL Not like they're a huge deal, but still! I posted yesterday about my younger son and his barky asthma cough. Well teh cough is still kicking his butt. No other symptoms and he's fine otehrwise...but the cough is soo tight. And he fights us tooth and nail to get his inhaler in him. So he's gonan stay home from daycare today. I had plans to take my oldest to lunch with my grandma. I think I'll take them both and hope that my youngest cooperates! (as long as he is no worse by lunchtime...) Any other day this week I have nothing to do..lol Ok vent over!

He is four now and we finally got our own neb. and he has only had it once since we got the thing for home!!! If that's how it was gonna work I would've gotton one a loooong time ago!! |

JonJon is 4 also (turning 5 april 10 though!) We have a neb too w/ albuterol..but that didn't seen to be cutting through it. We got an inhaler last month as well, but he has been verrry reluctant to use it. We were able to get him to take 2 puffs earlier, just not sure how hard he inhaled, etc...to know if it works. He was on steroids about a month ago for croup..hoping we dont end up that route..I hate giving them to him

| When Kevin was 2 (he's 15 now) he used to have "bronchial spasms". They said it wasn't asthma, just a spasm. We used to give him nebulizer treatments at home. He outgrew it. As for why they get sick when you have plans, they don't want to miss out on the fun! I never used to let Megan know if I was home because she managed to get sick every time!
