| Owner of tipsy pooch is again charged in DUI Owner of tipsy pooch is again charged in DUI Published March 21, 2006 HOFFMAN ESTATES -- An Island Lake woman charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment after police stopped her at her son's elementary school last week also has been charged with drunken driving in Hoffman Estates, authorities said Monday. Diane Marcotte, 49, of the 800 block of Plymouth Lane, was pulled over around 4 a.m. Thursday and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage, Hoffman Estates Police Sgt. Jim Campbell said Monday. In the earlier incident, Marcotte was arrested on March 13 after she drove up on the sidewalk in front her son's school, authorities said. At the time, officers also noticed that a pet Chihuahua in the car appeared to have ingested alcohol. The dog is being held at an animal control shelter in McHenry County, officials said. Donating YT 14K Club Member | GEEZ! First of all, CPS needs to be involved. THat poor child could be involved in a serious wreck with his mom driving. Secondly, that Chi needs to be taken away, also. Their little bodies (actually no dog) is able to handle alcohol.
