any GOOD ideas????? Hello! Well as many of you know I run a at home daycare. It has its ups and downs but lately its been really down. I have noticed that on Saturdays(even my husband notices it) im really happy and fun but starting Sunday night I start getting pissy and then boy Monday morning you'd think somebody stole my dog. I love kids dont get me wrong but i love mine more and want to watch only mine. I want to give this up but still work at home. I need some ideas that are GOOD and will still make me a pretty good salary a month. I make around 2200.00 during the winter and 2800.00 during the summer...any ideas would be appreciated. My husband says I cant quit until I know for sure I can maintain what I'm making now! My mood to me however is more important than if I have to give up 300-500 a month. My kids dont deserve it and neither does my husband(even at times i think he does since he knows how much I want out of it). Sorry this is so long just needed to vent!

Just a couple of ideas that came to my mind. Have you thought about transcribing? (Medical) I think there is money in that. Also, I am a director with Mary Kay and on a good month I bring in 5,000 in commission alone. My sales are extra.. Don't get me wrong. I have had slow months and January was one of them. I only brought about 1,200 in commission.. That's all that I can really think of. A lot of those other work at home things are scams.. Be very careful!

How long have you been doing this? Did you go to college or anything that you could do something with out of your home? I am kinda in the same boat - I need to find something also or its off to work somewhere I go. I am an artist and am almost to a point that I make enough money to do this alone. Do you have any crafts or art you enjoy doing that could be sold? Have you thought about Mary Kaye or Avon? I had thought about these but I am just not the selling type. I don't know I guess I am not of much help - I hope someone has a "eureka" kind of suggestion!!

I wish to GOD I could find something I could do at home, at least half at home half somewhere else, would love something like data entry, etc... My youngest will start kindergarten in August, then its back to work for me (after being home 7 years..>SCARY!) So I know how ya feel!

I think it is a lot harder than some would lead you to beleive!!! I love hearing those stories where a stay at home mom turns a simple idea into a million dollar idea!! Only thing is - I WANT one of those ideas!!! My youngest is off to kindergarden this fall also and I don't know what exactly to do!! I was shocked to hear what you can make selling Mary Kay though!!
