| Chihuahua I couldnt resist and went to my Yorkie's breeder yesterday. She also breeds chihuahuas and she had this beautiful baby boy. He is a light beige long coat chi and is about 15weeks old. He s is ready for adoption. When I saw him I was thrilled. He seemed very scared of me though and had an "accident" while he was in my hands. Is this normal? I am really considering on getting another furbaby for Twinkie. I think she would love to have a friend around but I am afraid this little guy will have a problem adjusting... What do you guys think?

| Oh! I love little chihuahuas as much as yorkies. We used to have three and they were so sweet and smart and so much fun to play with. I'm sure all chihuahuas are different, but I'll tell you our experience. Ours were just as sweet as our yorkies have been. They were healthy, active, and easy to house train.

| My chi and yorkie make an excellent duo. I love the 2 breeds together. Chihuahuas tend to be very timid and shy and yorkies are very bold and spunky. I think opposites attract

| I have also considered chihuahuas but never owned one. I think the eeing usually stops after they grow up a little. he is still a baby so you should forgive that. |

| Yup. That is normal. My Aunt just got a Chihuahua and he did the same thing to me the first time I held him.

| Thanks guys. He seems much more shy than my yorkie Twinkie. I brought her along to see if she had a particular preference to a pup. She was running around him, trying to play and the poor thing was terrified

| We have a Chi, Pixie and she is more timid around new people but once she gets to know you watch out...your all hers. She still shakes in strange situations but she is actually a little spitfire. She rules the roost here at home while still tending to keep "above" the others when they are wreaking havoc. Totally recommend having a Chi and a Yorkie...such a perfect combo. The breeder of Piper only breeds Yorkies and Chis so she herself loves the 2 breeds together too. I say get him...you won't regret having the two together .
