| Linda, just hoping you all are still dry and well. Have been watching TV coverage and crying at a lot of the images. Such devastation but so many heroes all pulling together to help. How are you feeling? I've been offline quite a while, pray you are still okay. ♥♥♥

| Tx Hi Jeanie. This has been a terrible ordeal for poor Texans affected by the hurricane and floods. It seems that you were not so badly affected. I hope so. The TV pictures cannot be imagined and how all these poor folks will ever recover I cant imagine. Praying they all get help to at least get back some of their lives. I am ok but my boy had and is recovering from a mystery GI issue and will be ok. I however am stressed out with seeing him sick and so sad looking. Here in Ca it is just HOT, but am so grateful for that and no floods. Hope you and Tibbe are ok. Think of you a lot.😍💐🐕🐾 |

| I hope Judy is doing well. I can't imagine how tough it would be for a breeder to have to evacuate.

We're in North Texas, just outside Dallas so we're way north of the sickening flooding. Hoping everybody down there gets the help they need. So heartbreaking but what a wonderful community we have with everybody pitching in to help! Many drives around here to help. Tibbe spent Sat. night in ER vet, came home on antibiotics, pain Rx & Tues having dental and what was anticipated to be an extraction but vet, after sedation w/irrigation said tooth fine, likely a that prob. by now worked out, did the dental on rest of mouth. Gave his 10 day antibiotic shot, sent home on Tramadol. He's doing fine now. Hugs to little Austin and you! Hoping Linda and those babies of hers are dry and okay still!!! ♥ Jeanie

| Tibbe Good to know you were away from the disaster area and that you are ok. Poor Tibbe being in the ER, and sorry for you too having him sick. Glad he is feeling better now, but quite an ordeal for the poor baby. I know it is painful for us dog moms when they are sick and I know I will not rest until my boy is 100% again, although I think he is ok now. Take care of yourself too!!!🌻🐾😍💝 |

Dottie, we're fine. Compared to what our Texas neighbors down south are going through, we're on top of the world. He's perky, eating fine and the abscess has seemingly dried up. No eye drainage or anything. Best of all, Danny took him and brought him home on Tuesday and he loves having attention from my other son! Watching the news about Irma is so scary! Surely THAT hurricane won't reach Texas shores, too! Everybody pray extra hard that the weather changes and that storm just dies in its tracks. GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!

| Floods and dogs This time God was kinder to you Dallas folks as you usually get hit hard. As for Irma, I think it is tracking very south of the US and may hit the Islands, poor things. Tibbe is doing well, after such a short time, and getting the xtra petting from Danny cheered him up. They sure appreciate attention. Austin is doing well but I wonder if he will be ok when he is off the Cerenia anti nausea meds tomorrow. He is eating well with pretty good poops so I think he is well on the mend. But I will worry until I am sure he is really ok again. He is usually so well, I am not used to having him sick. I seem so tired all the time and find it hard to get the extra energy to take care of him when I get so little sleep. Somehow he wakes me when he poops in the middle of the night and I can't get back to sleep. But hoping that wont go on for many more nights. I wonder how you get up enough strength to care for Tibbe with all you have been through. Somehow we get energy when needed by our sad pets. So keep well yourself and give Tibbe a big kiss from us. Warmest thoughts and wishes. 😍🐾🌺 |

I'll bet Austin just had a bug upset or foraged something in the yard as Tibbe can do, the little bugger. Yorkies have the iffyist of tummies! The least thing can do them in. Tibbe is his own worst enemy - can scarf up forbidden things outside B4 I know what's going on unless I'm right beside him. Amazing he's lived to age 10! His 10th Birthday was yesterday and as much of a cowboy as he is, it's amazing he's made it this far! He's always got his nose to the ground for whatever he can find! Imagine the same is true w/Austin - these little monsters are hard to manage a great deal of the time thanks to the fact they think they are 10 feet tall and rule the world! All I can say is, thank God for vets, Cerenia and that stuff that k-pectin or whatever that stuff is that stops diarrhea!!! Is Austin on probiotics? Spent 8 hours at the ER vet Sat. w/Tibbe and saw so many horrors while I was there in waiting room while Tibbe was back getting his shot, resting and in treatment I never ever want to go back there!!! Finally they sent me home in the wee hours, finished w/Tibbe and Danny came and brought him home Sunday a.m. for me and then shuttled him to and from vet Tuesday. But I'll never forget what I saw brought in while I waited! Am so glad he and Austin seem to be on the mend! Now, if we can just hear from Linda and the rest of our Texans that they are all still dry and safe.

| Hi all......I am fine and was blessed not to have any damage to my home. I honestly don't know what I would have done with this crew I have right now. Friday I had to let one of my precious fosters go. Matty had been with me since 2006. Some of you may have known him....he was a little guy who was living in the woods and was quite feral when he came to me. Over the years he got better, but he always carried some of the fear with him. Poor little angel. He had been having cervical disc issues and was being treated, but suddenly late Thurs night he got really weird acting and he wanted nothing to do with food on Fri morning. Took him in and they xray'd him thinking maybe it was his neck getting worse...omg he had a mass in his chest. We think he had lymphoma...his one kidney was huge and also his liver. He also had a temp and pneumonia. All changes that came really fast. Thank God it happened when it did because there were NO vets open for a few days starting Saturday....not even the EC or Gulf Coast. All flooded. The thought of him suffering for days makes me sick to think about. Then, on top of it, my Olivia has been on a downward spiral. My vet loaded me up with lots of meds for her...and he called me on Monday and checked on her....also Tuesday. They are open now, thank God. Right now she really is day to day. Just keeping her comfortable. So, it has been a long week. Sorry I haven't posted much...my pc went off a couple of times during short (thank goodness) power outages and I didn't restart it right away each time. I hope everyone else is doing ok. There has been so much devastation around here...it is so depressing to watch on tv. I have avoided going out to look. I went through flooding years ago in NJ and it really is upsetting when people come around to gawk. It will take a very long time for people to put things back together here. And, the people down in the Rockport area...just so sad. This was a horrible storm.

| Trials So sorry to hear about the Loss of your little Matty and that Olivia is not well. Praying she gets well again. What a week you have had what with the weather, floods etc etc and also having to deal with seriously ill pets. I wonder that you were able to get vet help in spite of everything. The good news amongst all this is that you and home are ok. But all the devastation is very depressing and hard to bear. My boy is doing better and I guess we just have to wait for his little GI system to recover from whatever ailed him. He is eating ok and poop is firming, but he barks and poops at 3 am. So little sleep this week. Thanks for your wishes and concern. Praying the upcoming weeks are better for you and your babies. What a fine mom they have! Don't forget to take care of YOU too!
