| Ladyjane I can see on TV how bad it is in Houston, water everywhere and few operating services. Thoughts and prayers for all Texans and their fur babes. The latter must be fed up of pottying in a river! Hooray for peepads! |

| Houston The TV picures are heartbreaking and it seems the water is not easing up. Hoping that YTers and their fur babes are safe. Getting power, water, and supplies must be impossible. So feel for you. |

| We are ok......but so many dogs, cats, horses, etc probably are going to die..like the case of a family that evacuated and left their German Shepherd behind ,,,and the poor baby got into the street where he got electrocuted. I choose not to post the picture. ...but why on earth will you leave you beloved pet...I just don't understand...

| It's so heartbreaking to see some of those photos. I pray that all those in Texas, people, dogs and other animals stay safe. I hope that there won't be anymore electricity outages, the rain stops soon, and that the flood drains away soon.

| The TV images are so devastating! My Air Force son took a plane full of amphibian vehicles to Houston early this morning, then did air boat drops, then took a whole plane load of medical patients and 12 dogs to Dallas, and now he is in Louisiana. The problems just don't seem to end! You Texas folks are so in our prayers!!

| Can hardly fathom the devastating picture on the TV. Seems impossible! Clearly it is going to take months and years to rebuild and recover! Always eager to hear from YT members!

| I'm following the news everyday and just cannot believe how this is all happening. It's like when catastrophic movies are happening in real life. It's all so saddening. I found a link of some photos of people who saved their pets, which is nicer than the photos of abandoned pets: Hurricane Harvey Pictures: Animals and Pet Owners Displaced by Storm | Fortune.com

| Texas WTG Houston and those others where the storm has moved on. But even so, it must still be horrible with so much water remaining. Now it seems the evil storm is doing terrible damage further along the coast. Seeing pets and hospital patients in such dire straits is particularly heartbreaking. Cannot imagine being in that situation and losing everything, thoughts and prayers to all affected. |
