| Cesar Milan Investigated for Animal Cruelty Wonder what took so long. I have always thought he was mean. This time is horrible though....the poor pig Such a stupid thing to do....let the pup go and chase a pig...then run after it and hiss. Good grief. Self taught alright and clueless if you ask me. Cannot. Stand. Cesar. Milan's. Training. Tactics. Cesar Millan: Officials Investigating Possible Animal Cruelty | TMZ.com

| I just saw this. Frankly I'm surprised no one or animal was hurt earlier than now. Or at least this is the first we are hearing of it. I wonder how the dogs are that he "rehabilitated".

| I've never been a fan of CM but I did try some of his non aggressive methods. (like trying to get M on the treadmill) I was always more drawn to Victoria Stilwell. Watching her shows and training tips helped me out a lot. |

| There is more camera footage, and some slow motion/repeat shots in the video with this article, if you can overcome the loud music soundtrack (Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells--why???) in the background: 'Dog Whisperer' Cesar Millan Under Investigation For Possible Animal Cruelty |

| Yeah, I just read this article earlier today. Such an awful thing to happen. Poor pig. Hope they get to the bottom of this.

| There is a petition here to get Cesar off the air: https://www.change.org/p/national-ge...r-animal-abuse However, the National Geographic Wild Facebook page is digging in its heels in defense of Millan . |

| I like Victoria a lot better too. But I remember one episode where she was teaching someone to make homemade treats and she said to use a lot of garlic bc dogs love garlic.

Other than that, I much prefer her positive reinforcement methods. I tried the Cesar way for about a week and all it did was make puppy Max frustrated, sad, and more reactive. Cesar has some basic good points in his books, common sense things, but his methods of dominating dogs I disagree with.

| I can't stand Cesar Milan, the only show I ever saw he was training a large dog that was food aggressive. Cesar put a bowl of food down, the dog went for it, Cesar gave a command word LEAVE IT the dog did not, Cesar PUNCHED the dog in the chest. I was horrified they would film this technic as a means of training. Cesar repeated putting the food dog, each time the dog showed aggressiveness, Cesar PUNCHED the dog in the chest. I was disgusted and never watched another of show of his. Victoria Stillwell has GREAT training technics, all non-aggressive and successful. They should take Cesar Milan off the air. Last night on TV I saw this clip with the dog and the pig, appalling.
