| Thanks both for looking I didn't know if these were old news or not since everyone I know has nothing like it and I live a very sheltered existence i.e. never notice anything unless I have cause to seek it Husband thinks black would make our bathrooms look like a night club with all the lights. Not the look we're going for but silver looks nice with marble tiles which is what we have They are freestanding which worries me but I don't know why? Something else will probably catch my eye before I get these next year! |

| Shower Wow, a fine piece of bathroom equipment! The free standing unit might allow one to fall over if the shower action were too enthusiastic? I am sure it could be fixed to a wall somehow? Thanks for sharing, I have never seen one here yet. |

| I'll probably sound like a real dork but... As cool as it looks, my first thought was "it'll need high water pressure..." LOL |

| Is that for a house? Looks like the showers in the high end suites on cruise ships. I'm more partial to frameless glass and rock floor for home showers.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Actually they do mention the water pressure needed something you might want t check out. It looks awesome though. Black would be a nogo especially if you don't have a light filled bathroom.

Even though you'll be using the existing system, I think it's better to ask. Better safe then sorry, right? | |

| ok we've decided against the first option because amazon US show some by Ariel (look up steam showers) and they all get bad reviews? SO: thinking something like this since the doors don't fold which is where the problems are re: limescale etc - so the only glass is the panel which keeps the water in: Saturn Walk In Shower Enclosure With Hinged Return Panel & Tray Online opinions please and options if some are better! yes/no? http://www.wdbathrooms.co.uk/ekmps/s...reen-286-p.jpg Last edited by SirTeddykins; 02-02-2016 at 12:42 PM. |

| They are both nice. Both seem to be a 180 from the original. No lights, no side jets, no BT. I liked the 1st one but water pressure is a concern. My neighbor put in a shower similar to the 1st and had to replace the plumbing to the shower with larger pipes to increase the pressure. When you have 2 overheads and a few side jets on you need more water or they just dribble out.
