| I FOUND a dog yesterday... I found a cute little Terrier of some kind yesterday. My husband and I were walking our Yorkies and this cute dog just ran out in the road and came bounding toward us. Scout just went off the hook barking that high-pitched "there's a really scary dog running toward us" bark. My husband picked both our yorkies up and I called to the dog and it came to me. He had a collar on with no ID. I told my husband to take the yorkies back home and I would knock on some doors with the dog to see where he belonged. I vowed never to let an obviously well-cared-for dog run free again after losing Pippa and others saw her but didn't pick her up. (We DID find her-different story). This terrier I found didn't have any fear of cars, and was clean and friendly. Nobody knew where he came from....I called the animal shelter and they told me I could either keep him with me or bring him in. My yorkies were scared to death of him for some reason, so I took him to the animal shelter hoping his owner would come looking for him. They said he looked like a Rat Terrier. They are supposed to call me if his owner doesn't come and claim him because I said I do not want him euthanized-I would take him back before that happened. I am going to call tomorrow and see if he's been found-I can't stop thinking about the sweet little guy!

| I have been thinking about it. Three dogs is probably too much. He is really rambuncious! My best friends mom lost her 17 year old dog (old age) about 6 months ago and she's been looking for another little dog for her mom. She immediately popped into my mind as being a good home. Surely someone will claim him though. He was such a cutie, and clean, well-cared for. I tried to attach a pic from the internet, but couldn't get it. He looks kind of like a Jack-Russel with a longer snout. Look up "rat terrier" on the web. He looks just like them.

| Oh I bet his family is missing him so much and worried sick. Thank goodness this little one is in a safe place for now and hopefully the owners will find him there. If not I do hope he finds a great home soon and doesn't decide to take a walk by himself again and get lost. This is so great of you helping him out as you are!
