| Please help me figure out this breed Hi! My cousin just text me and asked what is the breed of this dog? He wants to get one that looks just like it or very close. To me it looks like a mutt but I am not very good with all of the breeds out there. Any tips / help would be greatly appreciated. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Look up Duck Trolling Retreiver. This dog looks very similar to this - might be a mix what is the height and weight? They are fairly high energy dogs - usually love the water - very smart - do great at obedience, rally and agility.

| To me it looks like it could be a miniature or what some call a toy australian shepherd. Miniature shepherds are (my understanding, but I may not be totally correct) smaller sized Australian shepherds, however, the ones they call "toy" have been crossed with other breeds like perhaps a Pomeranian. The pictures to me look like an Australian shepherd mix as my guess and possibly even a long haired doxie with the way the front feet are slightly turned.

YT 1000 Club Member | I had a corgi and border collie mix. About the right size, maybe too tall compared to mine. However, the legs turned out the way they are tell me it has some kind of a bulldog type dogs, so I would say short in height because of a bull dog not a corgi. Possibly a bull dog and border collie mix? You could mix the 2 dogs that got this dog (or more breeds) and never get one that looks quite like it.
