Convicted VIOLENT Criminal Got a warning message from the local PD that a convicted VIOLENT criminal had escaped from a work crew in my neighborhood. He was listed as armed and dangerous. He is still on the run.... so we are still on the lookout. I am really pissed and have several questions for the local authorities.... 1) Why was a convicted violent felon on a work crew in the first place. This dude should be behind bars so he can't hurt anyone else. 2) Where was the guard when this felon "disappeared". 3) How did he come to be armed? This whole thing is so wrong in so many ways. We live out in a rural area where there are lots of outbuildings and barns - we have several and a so many places for a low life to lay low. Apparently they had the dogs out but weren't successful in finding the scum bag.

This is sooooo crazy, I thought it was a joke!!! I was expecting you to have a picture of your baby in a waste can or digging up a flower bed! This is terrible....so very scary....thank goodness you have a "burgler alarm" that has 100x's the hearing capacity of a human! Put your "guard dog" on it and pay attention if he starts acting weird or strange ......are YOU armed and dangerous....the convict is!!!!! After Hurricane Ike, some old woman had painted a sign on a 4' x 8' piece of plywood and propped it up against her house..... "WARNING.....Old Woman inside, armed with a double barrel shotgun....dont see well but I CAN HEAR A FLEA FART FOR A COUNTRY MILE....I SHOOT AND THEN ASK QUESTIONS....TRESSPASS ON THIS PROPERTY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!" I loved this and wanted one for my own yard!!! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 03-06-2015 at 04:28 PM.

Last report his clothes were found about 19 miles outside of town. We live about 8 miles out of town. Hopefully he got a ride and is far away by now. It was kinda spooky going down to the barn this am to feed.

I sometimes wonder how women who have no means of protection make it through long, dark nights when there is a criminal on the loose or they hear a sudden, unexplained sound from outside during the night. I don't think my heart can beat as fast as it would if I had no way to stop an intruder and knew someone was outside my house, determined to get in. Gives me shivers. Hopefully you and your neighbors can work together to see to it that whoever put that violent criminal on a work crew in a neighborhood is relieved of those decision-making powers. Likely he overpowered a guard and took his weapon and ran for hiding until dark. Stay safe. Hopefully the men in your neighborhood will be sitting on their porches, in their cars or by their windows tonight keeping watch. Hope they catch this jerk tonight.

Well the scum bag was captured in Atlanta! I am sssooo relieved. I had all kinds of crazy thoughts going through my head. I was even a bit concerned that the dude might try to steal one of our horses as escape transportation. Time to put the over active imagination away.

| Happy to they caught this guy.I know the feeling of a dangerous lunatic running loose . For 7 weeks they searched the wooded area's for Eric Fein who shot & killed a state trooper several miles from where I live.He was always 5 to15 miles from where I live. My road always had state trooper cars on it, very scary thing to see police crawling all over, so close to where you live, helicopters always flying overhead, nights they had spot lights shinning down on to the woods. Every time I had to let Cody out I was filled with fear. The night was worse, that's when he was on the move, I was always expecting him to jump on my deck when I had to let my lil boy out. I was so relieved when he was caught. Glad that you can breathe easier now.
