| Thank you very much, Cody has to use my back deck in this type of weather, so far I have removed snow 4 times, deck is big, 42 x 16, I'm ready for the stretcher lol and still have the driveway to clear lol,Have to wait for snow to end before I can jump on that. Oh the joy of living the country life in NE Pa. They are calling for up to 12 inches, NYC, Long Island and New England to get hit the hardest. Thank you again for your thoughts.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Stay warm and safe everyone. The governor of NY and Conn; sent out pretty serious warnings. Get groceries, gas up, and have a power outage plan in place.

| Hoping Lisa(lisaly) gets home safely as she works and lives right in one of the blizzard zones and says when there is snow or any kind of traffic slow down, it can take 4 -5 hours to get home, as she lives miles and miles from work. I was so hoping they'd close her school today but hopefully they got out early and we'll know she's home safe before long. Sure will be praying that the power doesn't go out and the whole 36" upper estimate of snow stays out to sea and doesn't hit inland anywhere and the worst forecast models are wrong. Everyone stay as safe as you can and check in with us here from time to time so we'll know you are okay.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | It's been snowing here since about 10:30 this morning. It isn't that bad yet, but I expect to be snowed in for at least a couple of days. They are saying 25"-30" and hurricane winds. I just hope we don't lose power! Hope all my fellow North-Easterner's will be warm & safe!

| Thank you for all of the wonderful wishes. We rarely close early, and although I teach in a high school, they worry about sending the young children in our district home when their parents may not have gotten home yet. Despite that, with the bad forecasts, we closed two hours early, and it made a huge difference in the drive home. The last big storm took me five hours to get home, but I was grateful to get home. I heard this morning that they are going to close the Long Island Expressway by five tonight, and I was worried about the trip home. Fortunately we are already closed for tomorrow, which will give me lots of time to shovel and be Katie's playmate. I hope everyone stays safe and warm.

| Happy to see you home and safe, I use to live in Mastic Beach drove to Manhattan to work every day, I know how 495 can get, was concerned for you not knowing how far out on the Island you were, or if you used the LIE. They shut all schools today and tomorrow here in NE Pa. Glad to know no traveling tomorrow for you. Stay safe and warm.

| It was snowing here in NJ when I got up this morning. The snow was covering the grass but not sticking on the roads. bubba had an appointment to get his rabies shot at 1 and the vet started sending out emails around 10 that they would close early at 5 today. Bubba got his shot and on the way home it was starting to stick on the roads. By the time I looked at my email again the vet changed closing to 3. Airports are heavily canceling flights. Schools had early dismissals and the news is showing empty shelves in the grocery stores. It's coming down like crazy right now and they are projecting 12 to 24 here on the New Jersey Coast with high winds. If the power goes out for a long period at least we can put food outside. The big problem we have here along the coast flooding as it melts. So between the blizzard, power loss and flooding we have to worry about evacuations. I'm a Red Cross Disaster Team member so I have my "go pack" ready. Let's hope I don't need it and can stay home this time. Stay safe everyone. East coasters check in when you can.

| What I hate to think about in that frozen Northeastern corridor are all the lost dogs out on the run, those who door-darted or broke out of the back yard the past few days and are still on the loose, not to mention those "outside" dogs who never, ever get to come in the house, huddled in whatever shelter they have tonight and wondering if they will ever get warm again. Just breaks my heart to think of them all.
