| We had snow in Southern California! Temecula/ Murrieta Valley was blanketed w/rare snow on Dec 31st, we had a white New Years! There was about 1.5-2" of snow...mostly all melted now. New Year's Eve DSCN3399.jpgDSCN3402.jpg New Year's Day DSCN3404.jpg Someone wrote 'Jesus <3 U' DSCN3410.jpg on the sidewalk. Didn't get any shots w/ the doggies, they were not very interested in it, they just sniffed the snow/ ice & that was it loll.

| Did you move? I thought you were in SGV? We got some snow too but in the mountains. They forecasted 1" in my area for NYE but we didn't get any.

| Must be that nasty ole "Global Warming" thing!!!! Never mind the polar ice caps are bigger and thicker now, since 1938.....!! But your snow is gorgeous!! THAT is as much snowfall as I think I would want to be saddled with....all you poor folks up North that have snow piled 6-9 feet deep during the winter, houses completely buried, cars completely buried, WAAAAAAAY to much of a "good" thing!!!! I am thinking I am liking that "dusting of snow" idea!!!!! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 01-03-2015 at 03:00 PM. |

| Jealous! We've had a warmer than normal winter so far. Only a couple of cold snaps. Has been raining all day so depressing, I'd much rather have the white stuff.

| Here's a video/ news clip: VIDEO: Snow covers parts of Inland Empire | abc7.com A lot of the trees were broken, palm tree leaves are now hanging low on the ground...are they dead? Frostbite? It's brown too, most of our plants turned brown. It sure was beautiful tho, a shot of our neighborhood DSCN3407.jpg Quote:
I love rain...send it over here. The ice melting from the roof sounded like rain...loved it. We don't even have rain gutters here bc it doesn't rain that much.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Dang that is just crazy. We have yet to have our fist significant snow fall here in OHIO. We have only has about 3' total. I remember when GA got snow last winter and it brought the entire state to a stand still. My friend from there said that it was crazy. He had to abandon his car and walk home and than he and his family was trapped in his home for about 10 days before the roads where clear enough to travel.

| So wild! I'm surprised the doggies were not impressed and more curious, lol. I was 8 years old the first time my brothers and I saw snow up close. We ran outside in bare feet.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | So many strange occurrences with the weather the past few years. That global warming thing I suppose it to blame. We finally got our fist significant snow fall last night. We got 2.5 inches and with it came freezing below 0 temps too. Today was 9 below and it is going to be 19 below on Thurs. Seems like we are in for a rerun of last years record lows her in Ohio. Be safe Everyone !!
