Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Doing Anything Fun/Special For Your Thanksgiving Table Settings/Deco? I never do a traditional Thanksgiving table setting, bc that's just me. So, I don't necessarily do, say, autumnal colors / gourds / whatnot for the table decor/centerpiece. It's probably just that *raging rebel* in me that you guys totally know me for . WOW, my 21 year old actual rebel self is super embarrassed for the 46 year old me right now....thinking that being a rebel nowadays is via a flippin' TABLESCAPE (does anyone else despise the word tablescape, btw? Bugs the crap outa me, but why?) Moving on.... I'm thinking this year I'm going to do a burlap runner and then contrast that with a very verdant centerpiece, so it just pops w/ the white/cream plates etcetera. What are you doing for your table decorations, anything fun? More traditional? Ideas to share? These are my inspirations: (just LOVE & j'adore this SO much): GORGEOUS color! | Decor | Pinterest Pops of green, love it. | Decor | Pinterest Crafty Christmas Candle Displays GORGE! So verdant. | Decor | Pinterest

All of those ideas are so fresh looking!!! I forget how different Arizona looked to me in the fall but I don't know why cuz Oklahoma isn't any colder! I think the cacti threw me off, somehow, but I have to admit it was neat seeing them decorated with lights at Christmastime! Which item are you leaning towards or are you thinking about all of them? I have to be honest, I normally have my Christmas tree up for Thanksgiving, but I really don't have the energy to do anything this year. I have even considered wearing pj's instead of dressing up cuz I'm the hostess and I can always blame the wine! | |

| when I "use" to do thanksgiving dinner it was non traditional lol. maybe I too was /am a rebel lol. Since it's only me and the pup, we always get invites, but I always make a tray of lasagna. I would do cake or pastries, but, no bakeries here in The Pocono's. In Ny there was an Italian bakery on just about every other block. Supermarket enterman cakes to me are soooo tacky, so it's a tray of lasagna.
