| I feel so horrible!!!!!!!! We have been having a big problem with moles. They are here early this year and they are killing all our landscaping. My husband was going to get some poison but he forgot about Gus. So he was out on the weekend with the water hose and the bebe gun. He got 2. And figuared that was it. I tried to tell him that there way more then 2 out there because the amount of holes. Well just a while ago I was washing the morning dishes and looked out the window and seen one poping out it's hole. I quickly got the bebe gun and cocked it 6 times, aimed and fired from about 50 feet away. I got it. But feel so bad. I have this ugly feeling going on right now. I called my husband almost crying telling him what I had done. And he started laughing at me. Does anyone know how to get rid of these pest? There is no way I can do that again.

| We've planted mothballs in their main hole, just make sure the mothballs are deep in the ground so your baby won't be digging them up. That seems to work for us.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'm not sure about how to get rid of moles. Don't be so hard on yourself. I would have done the same thing...even if doing so some would say that it's condoning violence. Ya do what you have to do.

| I remember watching Live! a few years ago and Regis said that putting a stick of bubble gum in mole holes will kill them (after they eat it.) I'm not sure if it has to be a certain type of gum, though. (If anything, Juicy Fruit is sounding familiar, but I could just be crazy!) Ugghhh... moles make such a mess out of a lawn. |

Villette,,,,,, I can give Annie Oakley a run for her money. I can shot a soda cap from as far as 80 to 85 feet (Length of yeard) with my bebe gun. But this is the first time shooting a living thing.

| Poor Monica! I'd be upset, too! But then I couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle!! Try buying Irish Spring soap bars and carve them into big chips and drop the chips down into the holes. It sure keeps the deer from eating my Hostas! Also, my boss buys coyote urine off of the Internet and uses it to mark his property to keep the critters away. (He lives in a rural area and I'm in a subdivision so he has more variety.) Better yet, fill the holes with coyote urine, bubble gum, soap and moth balls. May stink to high heavens, but all your bases are covered!! Good luck!
