| Wow, it's 75 degrees in South Texas In the middle of July! It's often not even this cool before sunrise this time of year. Does it ever feel weird for it to be July 18th and we have yet to hit 100 this year. Last year I remember hitting 108 in early June.

| It is currently 83* here in Houston (Pearland), but while it is not as pleasant as 75*, it certainly beat the stuffing out of 94*-100+* that we usually have at this time of year! |

| We've been in the mid 100's lately. Today was a lot cooler, but we hit 109 just the other day. I would love 75!

| 100s in WA? Wow! We have been fluctuating btwn high 90s all the way up to 110+. It's monsoon season here so some days are very cloudy and humid (for Vegas) if you can believe it! One day we got up to 30+% humidity. Usually we are like 8%.

| 109 at that latitude? Wow, the Cascades must be a hell of a rain shield.

| Well, so much for that! Now it's 96 degrees with a stifling 76 degree dewpoint, making for a heat index of 110 today. Feels more like Houston than San Antonio. I think I prefer the 102 degree days since at least it kills the humidity when it gets that hot.

| Now make that 99 degrees with a heat index of 117 now that dew point has crept up to 78 degrees. Arrggggh, nothing worse than a hot mostly cloudy day!

| Do you guys at least cool down quickly in the evenings? We are still over 100 at midnight. It's cool only right before dawn.

| We do cool down in the evenings to high 70s to low 80s by sunrise, but the humidity gets way worse at night. The dewpoints will creep up to about 77-82, which sucks with a capital S. Our humidity gives almost complete cloud coverage most summer nights, so we don't get the radiational cooling that makes LA nights so cool; the heat gets trapped in the low clouds and comes right back instead of escaping off into space.

| I live in DFW and although its warm today it POURED here over the last few days, I mean flooding pouring. The weather is crazy. I'm happy it's not 40 days of over 100 again but I worry if this means summer will be longer or winter will be colder....*shudder*
