| Ignore function Does anyone else use this and find it's counterintuitive? It highlights a person's post that I don't want to see so I want to see it even more! Then I can't help but click on View Post, and then after I read it, OMG I shouldn't have clicked! LMAO. Anyone else? Not this forum. It's on my cruise forum. There's this one lady I can't stand and she posts SO MUCH! and in every forum!!

| I have not used it, but I understand what you are saying. Sometimes I do wish that there was an ignore thread button, because there are some headings I get really tired of seeing. Then again, I'd be curious and go peeking.

| The only time I've actually used any type of "ignore" function is on FB. There was this one person that literally would update EVERY single thing she's doing. I got tired of having to scroll so far down my newsfeed to see what's going on with my other friends... |

| Yes, I use it and most of the time I will not look....refuse to look....but then I get a nudge to look and regret it

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I've never used the ignore function, though I've wanted to . But I think my curiosity would get the best of me and I'd probably look anyway. Nowadays though, nobody gets under my skin like they used to...I've had lots of training using the ignore function in my own mind !

| Im too nosey to use it. If we ever get another poster like we had at one time I would be forced to use it because she had me so infuriated with her I could have gotten suspended many times over because of what I wanted to say to her. No one on here really bothers me like she did. She has a special place in the yorkietalk scammer hall of fame

| I probably wouldn't use it. I enjoy reading most post even if I don't agree. I usually just laugh or pray and move on. There have been a few exceptions where I really wanted to say something or say more but it probably would do no good anyway. I see a pattern on all forums I've been on. Same people, same kind of wording in their post. Some good..some not so good.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I know exactly what you mean. I did it a few times...I put them on my ignore list than see that they have commented on one of my thread and than I un-ignore them just to see what they wrote. I figure I would rather see what they are saying and just not respond than sit wondering. That being said ,. .. If I put someone on my ignore list. Can they see my threads & post ???

| Yes they can post. But if you are the OP of the thread, when they "mouse" over your thread nothing will come up. But they are still able to see it if they wish.

| Only twice about 6mos after I joined. They are still on the ignore list and will probably remain there. Sometimes I can see what they have posted when someone else quotes them in their post and I usually think "Yep,that is why they are ignored" |
