| Small favor to ask..... Could everyone keep my husband in your thoughts/prayers. he was just recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. His father had a colonostomy at only age 17, and his grandfather had this as well..so its hereditary (I fear for my 2 boys hwen they get older) He feels fine, unfortunately on a very expensive medication for a long time now...but thats what has to be. So if you could all say a prayer, if you do that, that he continues to be fine. Thanks a million, I appreciate it.

| Will be praying. Many in my DH family have UC and I know it's not fun. DH suffered terribly in HS & his 20's/30's, but hasn't had any problems in about 10 years. I'm hoping it stays that way. |

| Thanks everyone..I knew I could count on YT'ers! Now to find a way to get his meds cheaper! The med he needs to stay on is almost $300!! There arent many available which is why its so high. The dr told him he could try ordering it online through canada or mexico, right from the company sort of? I sure hope so...this will make things tight for us. I already pay $170/month for my 2 boys ADD meds. Wish us luck!!

I work in the pharma industry...you DO NOT want to buy from Canada or Mexico, there is no control there that the meds are handled correctly, unexpired, etc. What you need to do is call the company that manufacturers the drug and ask about a patient assistance program. Every Pharma company has one. they will get the drug for you for less than retail, based on what you can affoard. PM me if you need more info.
